It was well known that this production house was abound with persons having irreverent sense of humor ..But I was really amused when I heard this tongue-in-cheek dialogue of Arnav, " Aap Log ithni bachpana, ithni seriously karke prove kya karna chahthe ho " ... Not something like ur childish acts will not make me budge from my stand or do u think ur childishness will make me change my mind nor even don't u think u r being childish ...But adding that Prove & seriously ,, I felt the PH was responding to the innumerable complaining Post inundating their walls ..If it is..Then really a applause to the PH for it !...If not, the dialogue did not gel for me ..Looks like The PH really responded to the OTT complaint by getting the actors to go completely quiet and by getting Khushi to tone down and in most scenes to go silent ...
My Second round of đđ to the Music Director who effectively conveyed the rush of love, amused irritation and anger of Arnav [ felt simultaneously ] on seeing a desperate Khushi wanting him to slap her so that the account gets settled..he comes near her , almost within touching distance, his eyes taking in her nervous and scared face , amusement and an inexpressible feeling writ in his eyes , his voice almost caressing , he whispers that he will let her go cos she may not be able to bear the impact ... A puzzled Khushi opens her eyes, is dismayed by not just seeing him so close but also reading that eyes for she has seen something undefinable in them and SHE responds to it ...with an inborn instinct she moves away, the spell breaks and Arnav is irate again ..he begins his tirade saying that she is unimportant to him and he never thinks about her .. * The Rabba Ve BG saying that it is a lie * A hurt Khushi looks at him and he halts again, hypnotized by those eyes , a pregnant silence ..when again Arnav begins his diatribe saying that he prefers silence and loves silence and closes his doors to Khushi ..
I just loved this shot so tellingly denoting that both complete each other ..both are half and incomplete ...I also loved the fact that Khushi despite denying Arnav's philosophy vocally has accepted his dictum when she says lets settle the account ..
I am glad to see that Khushi has not lost her fiery streak, when the family had given up and were moaning about their lot and praying for divine intervention..Khushi who despite being a ardent devotee of DM states that God helps those who helps themselves ..
Khushi then begins a great farce ..She launches the Silent war with the active support of the whole Raizada family .. A puzzled Arnav soon realizes that Khushi is behind this assault .. he begins to get restless, impatient and pretty soon begins to seethe... Grabbing a Opportunity, he waylays Khushi in the kitchen ...What I liked here was the change in Arnav, earleier when he wanted to, he would tear her to shreds not bothered about anybody's presence but this time , he sends the servant away on the pretext of giving the water bottle ... Then he begins his attack and finally his real feeling comes out, He demands to know WHY IS SHE silent?/ her silence troubles him !! ...Khushi calmly and with poise informs him that he wanted silence and he is getting it , walks away leaving Arnav frustrated .. For Arnav has very well realized that he cannot live in silence, he may think he likes silence..but in reality he has always lived amidst sound, sounds of happiness, gurgles of laughter , cacophony of cheer ..and when he discovered that he was being shut away from this Noise..he did not like it at all !!
Also loved the fact that the CV's kept ASR intact and he was not gulled by Other's..
