And given how filmy she is being shown, why can't we have a comedy of her dreaming of a sequence from a movie where she is the heroine and the hero is ASR and she wakes up saying 'what the'. These CVs are just not interested in how Khushi feels - they just write what she should do next to get the next laugh, make ASR look like a fool and occassionally, remind the audience that she is a woman therefore, she must cry.

Thanks for replying😊...You said it!
More than the dream I want her to feel this in reality...as anyone of us would have.
By all means make her effervescent and bubbly...but a bag of jokes ...nahh
More thought has to be put into how Khushi feels and reacts...maybe monologues or conversations with Devi Maiyya or to some momento she has kept of Arnav...I would like to know what happens to her frame of mind when she is alone ...does she think of him? think of the closeness they shared? think of his softer side?😳
I can accept her anger towards Arnav...for he indeed has hurt her in the past...but not her indifference or her need to defeat him in silly games that one plays in school dramas

I agree with you 100% - But, sadly the mentality seems to be "He has to confess, and only THEN can she show what she feels for him." And, that (specially here on the forum) I think comes from righteous indignation. It's the BBF support system talking, and nothing else. "He treated you bad, now pretend he doesn't exist girl, we're with you" - Unfortunately, they forget that under the pretense, every girl dies a little bit when she's around the guy who broke her heart, and if she still likes him, she DOES feel something, even if she pastes a bright smile on her face to cover it.

So, I'm guessing in the meantime she has super powers which keep every emotion and raging hormone in check. 😆 I see that a lot in 5 year olds, but in a full blooded 18 year old female? Never! Not even one mopey moment when in seclusion? She's Super Girl. W*F? 😆

Yes this is what bugs me.. and thanks for bringing up this topic.. especially when you are teen its your emotions that are raging all the time and your body starts waking up and Arnav despite all his actions is a very attractive man and he definitely has been very physical with her and give the fact that she shut down emotionally after the diwali scene... why she does not have any attraction towards him is amazing. These days NK and Arnav to her seem the strange which makes me want to scream.

Here you have the red blooded incarnation of sheer bliss and a yuppie kid and she is not aware of the difference :(

It seems Khushi doesn't bother about Arnav's attraction to her anymore because of how he broke her heart. Khushi has moved forward with her life but I am sure she hasn't forgotten the heartbreak she faced. This is why I say Arnav needs to make the first move, he needs to be the one to say how he feels

Righto HeadOver Heels!
She can hide her feelings from ASR all she likes. And I too think that he deserves a bit of a cold treatment! THERE'S NOTHING WRONG IN BEING OR PLAYING HARD TO GET. IN FACT THAT WILL SURELY BE A GROWTH IN CHARACTER FOR KHUSHI --- IF SHE DOES IT KNOWINGLY...
What we r talking about here is her awareness of ASR on her own level, in her own mind. This was very well reflected uptill the night when Khushi tells Arnav that she's engaged and the ring that he has is her lost enagagement ring!!!! And of course all through the Fark nahin Padta track.
She used to talk to herself or to Devi Maiyya about what r these feelings that i have? i remember her frying a Jalebi that was shaped as the name Arnav, i loved the scene where she tried to compere Shyam and Arnav as her future husband in her imagination. Her awareness of ASR during Diwali Party was amazing. She used to be khoyee khoyee all the time and Buaji would taunt her about it too. And this continued even after the "you don't mean anything to me" comment by ASR on Diwali night. They were both shown in way eager to see each other alone. Now we get none of it.
In the remote past I loved the hawa ka zhonka moments more than the Rabba ve's. Hawa Ka zhonka was sure just a means to show her awareness to the viewers. But that she was aware of his presence was the real point.
I don't mind her plastering a smile on her lips just to avoid those feelings as ASR is dangerous and she doesn't WANT to ghet entangled. But that has to be specifically shown. Even if they show her struggling to do that but somehow managing, it will be a more satisfying show than the current pathetic comedy... What is currently going on is certainly several steps backwards as far as Khushi's feelings are concerned.

Bang on!!! and great to hear from you 😃
Confession is a separate matter...here we have problems with even a show of simple awareness or realisation...Even before you can expect the other to confess, there comes a time when your own body and heart tell you this is HIM...
Yes agreed that he has hurt you ...and hurt you very badly...but precisely therefore you will think even more about him, given that you see him everyday...and not think about him as though it is a cricket match where he needs to loose.
I liked the Khushi shown to us after the Diwali night, the one who stared at Arnav with hurt and disallusion in her eyes, once he announced his engagement with La...but that same Khushi now is treating Arnav as an irritatant...and there is no insight into why she should write him off so easily
Cheers...thanks😊
PS: What is BBF system...pardon my ignorance😕

Arnav is attractive and how!!...NK is good...he is the type of friend one should have, I am sure he will be a great partner...but once you are so consumed by the interaction with a man like Arnav its difficult to then imagine another...
If Khushi does indeed go the NK way...its fine so long as the CVs show us why she never reacted post Diwali to Arnav...that aint happening as the leads gotta be together and therefore we are faced with this lack of constructive characterisation.

I think the awareness you are talking about was brought out very clearly by the 'jaadu hai nasha hai' song picturisation.
I guess after being dumped (for lack of a better word) by him so harshly, she has kind of given up.

Thanks bollywoodcrazed and slmu😊...
I get your point and also why Khushi does not bother with Arnav.
But I am not taking sides on who is right or wrong...and neither do I expect a confession
My point is simply this...when a guy comes close to you, both physically and emotionally (and we know he did on both levels), how can you not have any repercussions or reactions...how can you so quickly trade all of that for indifference and one upmanship.
Forget Arnav,...what about Shyam...we got no insight into what Khushi thinks about Shyam...did she feel loved by his attentions, was she happy with the way he cared for her... at least till the truth was revealed to her...did she envisage a life with him...
Or NK...who has treated her the best amongst all the men in the serial so far...NK might look silly in front of Arnav...but I feel on his own he is super cool😃...witty, charming and reasonably good looking...
does a girl in her late teens or early twenty not react to any of this...all she can think of is jiji and jalebis...well that does not happen in real life...we all have our fantasies and share of dejections and that is what the fictional Khushi too needs to be shown to have

Barun and Sanaya had excellent chemistry , but they are in the process of losing it and losing it big time .

Despite the shaadi scenario, Khushi can still be shown dreaming of Arnav or reliving incidents in her mind...which all girls do...even us fans watching that hunk on TV!😆 So how can she stay immune?😡

I remember in one interview, Sanaya saying doing romantic scenes isn't her forte...wonder if that's why CVs are forced not to do many such scenes. Who knows , Barun's wife and Mohit must have brought the house down for the almost-kiss!

But we viewers are expecting only the expected!😉
