Both families were now planning engagement preparation stuff and were waiting for the Pandit to give them an auspicious date for the engagement. Naniji also asked the Pandit to check if an auspicious time was there on the same day when Lavanya-ASR engagement would be taking place as preparations had already begun and it would be easier to have both engagements on the same day and would make the day even more special.
Anjali: So Khushiji, now that your jiji's engagement has been fixed, wont you tell all of us everything about your engagement?? We still don't know all the details about it
Khushiji: Hum..woh..she was lost for words completely..Her eyes started to well up immediately on the name of her engagement and she turned around.
Only Arnav was quick enough to realize that she actually had tears..the others mistook it for her being Shy

Everyone turned towards Khushi, but she seemed to have disappeared. When Buaji had started talking about her engagement, she couldn't hide her pain anymore so she fled to her room, where she could let it all out alone..she did not want to spoil this day for her jiji..

In the meantime ASR was hit with all this information. He remembered how he had treated her on the Diwali night and after all that she had to go through the forced engagement..How could he have done this to her he thought?? Why did he give her all this pain?? How did she take in all this pain?? He remembered how he had hurt her these last few days by trying to make her jealous with LA and his engagement stuff..And she hid all her pain..She did not get engaged to make him jealous he realized, infact she did not even want to get engaged, she was forced into it..He had seen the pain in her face whenever anyone mentioned her fianc, even today..He was 100% sure that she wasn't happy with her engagement..He needed to do something about it..NOW..he couldn't give anymore pain to his Khushi..Not anymore..He woudn't let anyone hurt his Khushi..How could they just force her into an engagement he wondered...All his encounters with her started filling up his head, started from the day he first met her. All he'd done since then, was ruin her life..Now, No MORE..He could just not hurt her anymore as by hurting her, it was hurting him a magnified 10 times more
Payal: She's just one the phone in the room.
Khushi had lied to Payal that she had an important call as she did not want to hurt her or let Payal worry about her
ASR: Is it okay if I talk to her, I needed to ask her something about some of my engagement stuff
Buaji: Ofcourse Babua, We are now all like family, ofcourse you can talk to her..Go its down that...second door on the left..
ASR: Khushi, knocking on the door
Khushi: I'm on the phone, choking down her tears
ASR: Khushi open the door before I break it down, and you know how capable I am of doing that. I need to talk to you about something important..
Khushi opens the door slightly and asked him to close it immediately as she does not want anyone else to see her tear stricken face..
