I completely agree with your 6 year old son..ASR is an "angry man who is mean". But I don't think this should be a reason for the CVs to stop portraying ASR's character. I agree ASR isn't the totally perfect hero...he is a fictional character with his share of flaws. And such flaws are what makes the story interesting. Making his flaws vanish in one episode (would seem totally unbelievable) would dry up the storyline.

Yes, ASR has an ego, which comes in the way of him confessing his feelings. But this is what makes the story interesting. And regarding wantingthe protagonistto be manenough to confess his feelings straightaway - didn't Aakash do that? Wouldn't ASR doing the same be boring?
And I don't think the CVs are glorifying his arrogance..because by his arrogance he takes rash decisions that are hurting Khushi and him. Neither are happy. This doesn't seem like glorifying to me..If anything this shows me if we bring ego into a relationship, we are not going to be happy. Its another thing that ASR hasn't learnt this yet...but he will with time and experience. Its going to be a gradual learning experience, catalyzed by the love between him and Khushi.
