The Handfast

Today's episode was simply wonderful. Best of all was the scene where La makes Kushi hold ASR's hand while she wraps the bandage around his hand. In medieval times, a simple handfast (groom and bride holding their hands) made them considered married. Even ASR's dialogue about when is not seen/ expressed doesn't mean that it does not exist was very propitious as it almost echoed the idea of the surreal link established between KKG and ASR and yet going "unnoticed" by La!

Today, ASR could not even wish Kushi properly on her engagement (by when Shyam calls!) and voila we have a "hand fast" of hearts already in front of us!

I think we need to lock Arnav & Khushi in a room for a couple of days. The door has to be solid or bitwaa will knock it down. I think this will give them the time n space to realise what they mean to each other.

Loved the idea of handfast.

the beauty is that even ASR is speaking at the level of "hitting back at KKG and making her understand what she means to him- little does he even realize the symbolism of the hand fast! Very subtle scene- loved it.

😃 Sadly, they will kill each other! That is the problem with them- they are so intense with each other they get too "violent"! Nope- theirs will be a love that is like raw red chilli pepper paste that needs to soak the vinegar (their sour language) and then left to age over a few months to make the perfect Tabasco sauce- a wonderful accompaniment with the most boring main course!LOL!

No need to feel bad for them- they feed off each other. Theirs is a relationship that demands a lot of "fire" and they breath it out to each other! One shoots it from his mouth and the other through her eyes!
