There was no clarity in that message there. Even though the message itself was meant to be cryptic, there is a certain amount of clarity that is owed to the viewers, which it lacked to convey.

Many on the forum have interpreted that a part of the message was meant for KKG, the actual crptic part and the other part, the blatant lie (main khush hoon) was for Lavanya. But some how I am left a little confused. Maybe the vision for that scene, when it was filmed, was not very clear.

Maybe the CVs know what they wanted to say in that scene...but I am sure that like me, even ASR and KKG are confused as to what exactly was said there.

This is how I interpreted the scene:

Before that moment, Arnav clearly showed Kushi how agitated he was by saying it makes a difference dammit, showing his irritation when La was teasing Kushi and then near the pool side.

When La came in to the picture, the so far vulnerable Arnav composed himself and wore the mask again. And that dialogue was subtly directed to Kushi - "My lack of verbalizing my feelings doesn't mean that I don't have feelings for you". This was understood my Kushi instantly yet felt helpless. Then, he said 'Kush hun' to make himself better and to hurt her swallowing the pain those words caused !

OMG, I thought I was the only one who felt the scene failed to distinguish between the parts of the message, as it ought to be for the viewers.

I think that his part about emotions/things existing even though they may not be evident could be interpreted two ways -

To Khushi, in anger that she couldn't read the love and care he has for her ... sort of goes with his heart breaking, award winning 'tum kya kar rahi ho'. Just coz Khushi couldn't read it in his eyes doesn't mean it didn't exist.

To Lavanya, in his obstinate mind, that she couldn't read the love and happiness he has over this engagement cum commitment. Just coz La couldn't read it in his eyes doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

The rest, of course, was a bald faced lie but mostly to save face, and his ego, in front of Khushi.

I love the hole he keeps digging for himself out of ego and anger ... he's going to be begging big time when he's crawling out of it to come to Khushi ... can't wait for that day.

I'm so glad someone else felt it wasn't directed/acted/conveyed well enough ... I thought I was going to get shot if I said that on this forum ;)
