This one line gives us a glimpse of how Chote was in the past. He had a flaring temper even then but it took a turn for the worse when his parents passed away. It has happened to all of us. Sometimes a certain negative quality of ours intensifies after any kind of tragedy. A weak person become weaker, the strong person stronger and the angry person (like our very own Chote) becomes angrier.
Only a person who truly understands will be able to see past those negatives and recognize the true soul behind that mask. Khushi has seen the child and the man behind this mask. There have been so many instances where she has understood that Arnav is like any other man, who wants to be loved and taken care of. But he is scared of baring his soul to anyone lest they leave him or take advantage of his vulnerable side.
The development of this story is so breathtakingly beautiful that is leaves me speechless sometimes (Ummm... Considering I write so much you would not believe me). The story went at an even pace wherein a bond of trust was created between Khushi and Arnav. There are so many instances that come to mind:
- Khushi not telling Anjali about Arnav's low sugar episode
- Khushi hiding her arm with a dupatta so that no one sees the marks that Arnav caused
- Not talking to anyone about what happened at the Diwali party and actually becoming a part of the happiness routing from the engagement
- Khushi fixing back Anjali's shoe after her fall
- Khushi's father falling ill and the episode that followed where he was there for her
Arnav saw the qualities of self-respect, patience, concern, nobility, trustworthiness and last but not the least the love in her eyes on the night of Diwali. She literally melted in his arms and did not stop him. That was reason enough for Arnav to know what Khushi really feels for him. The intensity of feelings between them is so tangible that you could cut it up with a knife. Their entire body language around each other takes love on celluloid to a totally different level. Plain fabulous!!!
Arnav does not really think about the future because he thinks he will write his fate. He felt threatened, he declared his wedding. Today he is heartbroken but cannot do a thing. He cannot stop her, he cannot say that he loves her in plain words and cannot call off the entire thing with Lavanya. Khushi is going to hit at the very core of his personality. Arnav is all about his anger, domination and power but I think everything gets thrown out of the window as soon as Khushi comes in front of him. I think he realizes that she is the only one that can take care of him. Take note in the last 2 episodes, both of them just feel each other's presence and are not restless anymore. They just know that they are around and are comfortable with it.
Their relationship is moving ahead full steam but not without its shares of highs, lows, confrontations and apologies. It is just perfect and now we know that to endure Arnav's anger is to ensure receiving his love, care and concern. He has a heart of pure gold which is just tainted because of a painful past. The moment he accepts his feelings and decides to commit to Khushi forever the entire world will watch what true love is all about.
I always thought that the title of the show suggested that their relationship will never have a name. But with the last few episodes, my thoughts have changed a bit. I think right now love amidst conflict is what makes it difficult to give this kind of love a name and later on it will be the immense trust that he will have in her despite everyone accusing her. He will defy all odds to get her back her respect which is going to be tampered with by Shyam. Right now it is fights and realizations but it is this realization which will pave the way for a beautiful and strong relationship where he will know that no matter what anyone says, Khushi is innocent and pure along with the love they hold for each other.
Khushi just has to understand, 'Gussa bardaasht karna aur pyaar sooth sameth lautayega hamara chote.' 🤗
