I am sensing a level of frustration in the forum (genius, right?)for a multitude of reasons. At the core of which, though, is the virtual rewind of ArHi. And while I loved watching the goo-goo eyed chocolately caramel oozing sexilicious Arnav inch closer to making Khushi a woman in every sense, I can't say it surprised me that ASR is back.

Take a moment, take yourself out of the story, you are just a bystander. Khushi will not be held to what you do or expect and neither will ASR. If you usually relate to Bua and Shyam, well keep that to yourself, jus sayin. Have we not seen KKG falling unknowingly for the man behind the mask. Have we not seen all the feelings she associates with pehli pyaar fulfilled? Did we not see ASR turn soft on KKG? (Hint - there is a reason she had switched names to Arnavji and laad governor is back) But, did we not ALSO see ASR promise Di to never give in to love, to keep as far away from that person who made him that weak? Have we forgotten that this is the man who after the missed kiss said to himself how did I become so weak? Arnavji was weak in love, ASR is back to rectify this fault and bulldoze the cause - KKG. Why? CVs have got to tell me, but I'll wait because I like roller coasters.

Why is he back to calling her names? It was through name calling that KKG originally named him rakshas, and he is doing everything possible to return to that status, before he went soft on love, before he became this weakling.

KKG is hurt. Thoroughly. She is being called back to the house and she doesn't want to go. But to her credit, she sees it as her responsibilty to see La get married. So, when they call, KKG goes. Have we forgotten that this is the same woman who day after day showed up to the office that routinely mocked her due to her sense of obligation? So, why would she not go to RM because of ASR? She doesn't understand his about face, she doesn't understand his harshness and what he is trying to do, but now that it is back, she will deal.

So ArHi are back where they began. Each prideful. One trying to break the other. The other not retreating an inch. We have been here before in hate. Now, let's sit back and watch what happens to this dynamic in love.

Aside - rant time
Just want to take a moment and remind people that ASR is not your average hero. That idea should have flown out the window when he nearly assaulted Khushi in episode 1. If you weren't sure, then the slap across the face of the fashion director in episode 2 should have done the trick. And if you still weren't sure, then the ripping of the dupatta, smashing down the storeroom door, breaking the cell phone, the little badtameez lesson or the grab by the pool when she first dropped the payal might have clued you in. This is the guy who is back. Arnav of the fairy lights - gone, ASR what the f*** is here. Why is he mean? The same reason why Anjali is overly sweet. Life. Can't deal, don't watch.

Sorry - this went on forever but I had to get some stuff off my itty bitty brain. Thanks for humoring me.

@Anu: I have to say that your post came at a good time cuz i just finished venting on how disappointed I was with the screenplay today😛!! Thanks for being such a loyalist cuz it helps the rest of us realign our focus.

While i totally love the characterizations, taking today's episode in isolation, i just can't get past the trippin and the fallin!! It looked forced at best, and the actors seemed like they were going through the motions, How many times can you replay the same situation and expect to create the same magic!! Even the aukad(arts) seem to have missed their target (read - impact on the audience). I like the plot and by all means, continue with the track, bring back the bad boy (ASR), but tell it differently. That's all i ask!!!

Ok - end of my rant!!

In all honesty, Anu, great post, as always!!!!

Much needed post Anu !!

I got frustrated too...i had my reasons...but I'm very patient when it comes to the show.

I have said this over and over... There are two faces of this man...ASR and Arnav. ASR ripped Khushi's dupatta, he slapped a man for no apparent reason, he dropped Khushi from the window...just coz Arnav took over ASR for a while it doesn't mean ASR would never come back.

Khushi is confused by his behavior, but she has seen the Arnav that lives behind that mask of ASR..it is Arnav she fell in love with. Khushi agreed to help La because she feels responsible...it is her goodness..she sees good everywhere..but she isn't blind.

About today's epi..it was boring but liked it because I know every episode can't be equally good. The only thing I didn't like...the trip-fall.

CV's please give Barun and Sanaya a break...even they don't like tripping-falling-dupatta flying.

@Renu - I was talking about the story in general. I believe the word I used to describe today's episode while writing the update in the AT was dumbassity. Can't stand the tfc and can't stand the fact that the scritpwriters basically think we don't get the story has gone back to ASR that they have to overtly show it like this. I will say that tfc, although I hate them all, did have the purpose of bringing them face to face to have it out. It gave no chance of running away or silence.

I agree with you, and most of your post.

It is just that despite their love for the Arhi scenes, the audience needs the plot to move forward...get the conflict-resolution on Shyam etc in motion---this could lead to solutions or further complications, but there has to be an ever so slight pace forward.

It also wouldn't hurt, at this juncture, to also show us a bit about Arnav's past, what turned him into who he is...maybe an Anjali and Nani flashback.

^^^ I liked the episode ...I liked the fact that Arnav is still mellow enough to realise that he was all wrong about her and then to call her and bring her back..The old ASR would not have done it..But the Story line is getting weaker..They need to come with a better reason for ARHI interactions..Then also I found teaching her kids at night..poor editing..but I liked the fact she stood up in front of Shyam..
The last girly giggly scene was OTT..but I like the episode overall

@Zain: Both his ladies stood their ground - that was the part that i liked!! He has really started to feel helpless against the situation which will make him slip up, hopefully!! It depends on which creative team is writing the track!!!

Very nicely written! I am one of those who is extremely frustrated and i still am. I started watching IPKKND by accident...my first epi was the GH scene and I was extremely happy to see Khushi's strong character.

I have never claimed as an ASR fan. Honestly speaking I despise men like ASR and Shyam despite they have some same and different personality traits. I just find it hard to watch a man continuously and repeatedly abusing this girl who is nothing other than honest. So she works. So what? Has he forgotten this same girl wanted to return an extra silver coin she thought she received by mistake.

I'm tired of seeing him been defended because he is resisting himself from love and he had a terrible past! Who doesn't have a past ?I would say Get over yourself ASR!

I just want to see an independent Khushi.
