Having watched this show from the beginning as almost everyone here and watching ASR's character displayed in so many ways, I don't think that someone like him will melt as easily as some of us would like to think that he will. He has become accustomed to suppressing any feelings of love, sympathy or compassion for such a large part of his life that when he gets even an inkling of feeling something even remotely close to one of those emotions for anyone other than those in his immediate circle, he completely shuts down and becomes even more arrogant, rude, etc.

So in my opininon, I think that in order for ASR to actually realize that he loves Khushi and for him to allow for the ice walls around his heart and psyche to melt, he will have to actually be put in a position where he is faced with the grim reality of actually losing Khushi before he will be able to accept what he feels and how he feels towards Khushi in an honest manner. I certainly don't want anything to happen to Khushi but as things stand now I can't see how anything short of a real life threatening situation for Khushi will allow for ASR to let the ice melt.

I think the life threatening cause will be Shyam

I think ASR will discover wiley ways of Shyam and in his zeal to save his sisters marriage, he will marry khushi. how CVs reach that point is unclear but only an extreme event will force ASR to marry Khushi.

in a way, i am in NO hurry to see them married. im enjoying this meetha meetha dard between them. more longing more sighs, more intimacy, more accidental hugs.

although it would serve well to tone down the duppattas and physical abuse of khushi a bit.

ASR will fall ill when he hears of Kh's shaadi - I don't think he'll react all that much on her engagement thinking she will still b around, since he is not getting married to La anytime soon-so what will cm to him as a SHOCK is her pending shaadi.

He will be grievously ill, bed-ridden. Either Kh will get her 'wind-breezy-something's wrong-feeling' and call up RM to inquire whether every1's okay and find out from OP that 'barray sahib' is not well. OR Anjali/La will make the courtesy call of congratulating Kh and say that ASR is not well.

Either ways, Kh will find out he is not well ON HER WEDDING DAY. She will rush to go to ASR in her usual night clothes (i.e. plain clothes, open hair rather than her usual working clothes 'chamkeli kameez + braided hair'). OR she will be in her wedding dress and still rush to RM.

Once there (OP will open the door), she will go to ASR's room. Meanwhile either ASR in delirium says her name (I think that's when Anjali will know who her brother loves) OR gets the 'wind-breezy-feeling-she's-there' and get up-only to see Kh standing beside his bed. He will palm his hand on her face and she will tell him to take the medicine to get energy to tell her he does not want to see her again...

ASR wil fall ill when he hears of Kh's engagement &pending shaadi (he got a headache ven he cudn't talk to Kh b4 'Character Dheela' scene). Kh on her wedding day will hear of this & cm rushing in her usual night clothes (i.e. not dressed up and with open hair), go to his rm & he wil kno she's there!

Marriage to Shyam is worse than a life threatening illness. I don't think he will be able to bear the news of her impending engagement/ marriage.

He is such a person who will only realize the importance of Khushi when he starts losing her. Being a person who has seen hatred from the very beginning, Arnav is justified to be the way he is. It will take some time before the walls he has built will crumble.

I don't know how will he deal with so many emotions at the same time. He knows he loves Khushi but he is in the denial mode because he doesn't want to make any woman the cause of his living that is both due to his insecurities and his ego

Insecurities because he believes his loved ones always leave and never come back or maybe the fear of betrayal in love as it had happened in his parent's relationship

Ego because if it was only insecurities he could have just said sorry and walked away in the diwali night, leaving Khushi repent on her actions, but he didn't. He wanted to make sure that Khushi didn't make any other meaning out of it. As a whole he wanted to prove to himself that he had taken the right decision of marrying La and that he had done nothing wrong.

If the news of Khushi' s engagement comes to him I don't know how he will deal with the mixed feelings his insecurities, ego and as well as the fear of losing Khushi forever.

I think the fear of losing Khushi will overpower all the other feelings, but don't know how will he handle this mess. Then the truth of Shyam may come out

Lets hope he realizes his feelings before the Snake's truth comes out! I want him to FEEL jelousy and desperation and pain... it is important for him to feel all this to take action to stop his love from belonging to someone else!

A man as possesive as Arnav wont be able to take this news! CANT WAIT!
