Why is Khushi called...

Sanka devi by Boooah

Chamkeli by Lavanya and

Phati Saadi by mami?????

I started watching this show recently[like a month or so back] and so was curious😳

Yup have seen all of them calling these names too but I wanted to knw why they call her these names esp Sanka Devi & Phati Saadi.

i don't like this name calling at all. Esp maamiji calling her phati saadi infront of everyone and nobody says a word to maami. i am not sure but i think her saree may be torn apart once. you know sometimesyour own family members call you know. it is still tolerable. i think buaji calls her sankadevi because she getting into trouble all the time.

Sanka devi by Boooah- coz Khushi is crazy, in a good way ;)

Chamkeli by Lavanya and - initially to demean her and insult her at office when Khushi used to work there under La, but now it's more like a friendly nickname, Khushi doesn't mind it anymore as its said with a lot of love.

Phati Saadi by mami?????- coz Mamiji had ruined the sari's Khushi once got to sell, and blamed her to be deceiving them by selling torn sari's. Now uses it yo keep reminding every1 and free herself from ny guilt i suppose :P

Mami calls Khushi Phatti Sari because the first job that Khushi took up was as a sari salesgirl cum delivery girl fro her Bua's Chicken Sari business. By mistake, she enters Shantivan, (The Raizaada House) and mistakes Mami for a servant. Mami is furious, and in 'revenge' she spoils the sari samples Khushi brought by deliberately tearing them with a pin.

Lavanya calls her Chamkili because of the bright colors that Khushi wears. It was derogatory as they all hated Khushi for daring to stand up against ASR and thought low of her because she wasn't as classy or trendy as anyone of them. plus, she didn't know how to speak English.

Buaji calls her Sanka Devi because sanak, in Hindi, is a craze kind of thing, and Sanka Devi literally means, Queen of All Craziness, and according to Buaji, Khushi does all crazy and impulsive things! therefore titilya too, as a butterfly flies around without much of a purpose!
