I am so disheartened. It was such a lovely episode. I have still to get over Arnav's despair and deathly palor at seeing Khushi walk away from him.

Everywhere I look on the forum, I see people up in arms in re: the essence of the characters? Arnav is Arnav, Khushi is Khushi, and this is their love story. Why can't we just watch the story as it unfolds. Why this need to change characterization. Sure, I get that people will object to things and that not everyone will see things as I do. But here it seems, no one understands Arnav and no one understands Khushi because everyone is busy trying to superimpose their wishes on both characters...Why????😭

I hear you Saatschi! While trying to decipher the meaning behind what's going on or going to happen, people forget to enjoy what the cast, crew, and creatives are presenting us. I do believe that IPKKND is meant for a smarter and more sensitive audience, so we should be analyzing things and thinking things through...but people need to realize when to step back and just enjoy the beauty of the show and the characters instead of dwelling on what could have been done differently..

Ditto, Sasha!! Most of our audience here has a preconceived notion about the drama that they want to watch. We had some discussion earlier about audience wanting the characters to be black & white. They can't accept gray unless it is on his shirt/suit😉. There is but a few of us who look at the nuances that make those characters and appreciate performances that bring out these characterizations flawlessly!!

Not to belittle anyone - it is just a different perspective with which they watch the show. To each their own, right!??!!? You are on the right thread, my dear!

What happens when one reads a book. Surely there are many books out there which deal with all kinds of issues, domestic violence and so much more. While reading, do we, after reading each chapter, send the authors a notice to change the characters, stop portraying them in a certain manner or even take the book out of the markets? We either put the book away or read it. After reading it, we might publicly review it, expressing our dissatisfaction. But, would we review it before reading the book? Seems somewhat premature. That is why I am just watching to see how the characters evolve and how this story is played out. For me, this is a story of Arnav and Khushi, both characters are being rendered superlatively by brilliant actors. If Khushi can see beyond the armor put up by Arnav and fall in love with Arnav inspite of the troubled soul he is, then I am willing to wait and watch how the story plays out. Why is everyone so judgmental???

And what happens to courtesy? I am so upset. I saw one of the members taunting Sunaina in that 'Barun cannot emote blah blah' thread. What that member wrote about Sunaina is absolutely member bashing, clearly. Why no action against such MIDs?

And then I see the same thing on Anu's thread. That member was so rude and discourteous!!!!!

I am so sad. First of all, such beautiful acting that made me weep. And then I cannot even enjoy the feeling because everywhere I look, Arnav is being shredded to pieces...No one wants to understand...everyone wants to prejudge...How sad😭

yes Renu, I get what you say. And I completely agree. It is one thing to express opinions. And I get that opinions will differ. Cool. But insinuating that just because we 'understand' Arnav's character, we are lacking in self-respect or that our thought processes are 'disturbing', that gets me.

Smarty, I agree with what you say totally.

From day one, we are seeing Arnav like this. yes, we have seen him soften towards Khushi. We have seen his affection for Anjali. Even with Anjali, he has been angry with Khushi and shouted at his sister, "my house" When he gets angry, he does not think. He acts, then regrets. he is not an abuser, it hurts to read such stuff.

@Sasha - the most important thing in the forum is not to take anything personally. Post what you want when you want and do it so that it doesn't hurt anyone's feelings. That's it and that's all. There will be those who disagree, or try to create drama where there should be none, just ignore..because you will also find people who agree with you and are just looking for a place to dump what is tickling their brain in your post.

Enough funda.

HI Anu🤗I'm feeling a little better after venting out that long rant. Hope you are feeling better.

What I also feel is that Arnav never wanted Khushi to overhear his tirade against her. He almost willed his sixth sense to be wrong, he would have given anything to not find Khushi looking at him bleakly, her tears, her countenance signaling her distress at his cruel words…Once again, he has hurt her, brought tears into her eyes….and he hates it…he would take his words back if he could but of course, he cannot. He soon takes it out on OP, poor soul. He is so distressed, he just blows a fuse and poor OP gets caught in the crossfire. He never meant her to hear it. He just wanted to shut his family members from their Khushi jaap. He didn't need it. As it is his mind was playing Khushi on an auto play list, complete with flash backs….
