Yes Sasha, he didn't want her to hear her. The entire room didn't want her to hear it. It proves to her that he is not feeling that way only in front of her, he is doing it to everyone.

He didnt want to hurt her, he didnt want her to go - he doesn't know how to love and not get hurt. He doesn't understand that in her love he will find strength, not weakness.

I think the issue is that people watch it for different reasons and hence perceive things very differently. And sometimes people don't always catch onto or just misinterpret/interpret differently the finer nuances of ASR/Arnav...the slight furrow of the brow, a gulp, or those eyes that speak volumes!! Because he gets such limited dialogue - its hard for people to understand and warm up to him...because from what I know, so far on television, characters have been very OTT and loud and state everything. There are very few, if any, that are subtle and have a depth beyond what is spoken.

Nice to meet you too Smarty:) I agree. And ASR is one of the finest sculptured characters ...all thanks to Barun:)) And now ASR is unsurpassable. I have never ever seen such exceptional emoting through the eyes, through subtle changes in demeanor. Today, in the last scene, he was really brilliant. It was perfect. I cannot get over it.

HI Nandy no drama - only daily type stuff.

@Smarty - do you think that is why there is such a huge audience of overseas - in the western countries - for this show because most of the acting done in shows here is like that. I also think that that is the reason why old farts like myself watch it and understand ASR, because we have dealt with men a lot longer than the younger ones here. I mean it is a matter of years and experience.
