Actually guys, I keep re-watching that almost kiss scene between Arhi many times. Then I stop it at that moment when that damned phone rings!!

That scene, in my opinion was breath-taking and uber romantic. Usi scene ka sahara hai ab toh!!

well...ASR has always believed himself to be an indestructible , immovable mountain...so making in-roads in him won't ever be a piece of cake , will it? 😕 ... and khushi , before being a naive , humble , bubbly , fragile , strong yet an innocent nimble 18 year old...she is a girl...a part of the female species...for the reason i can feel the amount of emotional pain that was strong enough to slit her heart apart...i can feel her dignity at stake for the sake of falling in love with someone unfathomable to her...how vulnerable every figment of her soul , her trembling veins , flesh and blood must have been almost stationary and frigidly frozen when ASR made her almost first kiss a pathetic and ruthless joke for the sake of protecting himself , and hence making her heart die through his defense mechanism...khushi will make a smooth in-road inside this stubborn mountain..no matter how many times this mountain repels...he is only prolonging the journey...*sigh*

@sush : fab post...what he said wasnt pretty...what she felt was worse...he broke her heart...stomped on it and stopped short of a tap dance...he did all that...

nothing justifies this action...but im going to try to delve a little deeper into his actions (*do not throw stones...for u see im an ardent arnav fan as much as i love khushi)

i think the answer lies in what probably only khushi has recognized so far...in anger the man fails to see reason...he fails to think his actions through and he crosses that line oh so fast that it ends up ripping her to pieces...and as always somewhere down the future she'll be the one to make it dawn on him just how bad his folly was...

hes angry with himself for agreeing to the wedding...hes angrier with her cos

1. she came so close to breaking him (we all know hes already there...but the action would have confirmed it)

2. he saw her feel pain, he saw her cry...but it vanished...she seemed happy...she told him she was happy with the idea of him and arnav...

just when he was hanging on to the remnants of things he thought were special between them...she with her happiness probably negated it all...

coming back to anger...it fueled it...heck it was almost as if he was doused with petrol and burning and he wanted her to burn as well

is it justified...no ? it will never be...but this is his one inherent flaw...he cant control the rage...the worst of him and the best of him manifests only in front of khushi...mostly the worst...

im going to go on the lines of what cinders and renu said and say he all but confessed...

and as he left...he used the worst weapon of all...she saw him in that avtar first...she sees him in the avtar last...i say last because...the entire car conversation yest and her additional chirpiness was just such a big reminder to him that he with a single decision had managed to get her out of his life... !!

his decision was hasty and hes feeling the pain, khushi today broke and is paying for it with her acquiescence to wed shyam...will she become an indifferent soul ? maybe...is asr to blame yes...will arnav come to the rescue ? maybe not...

but this was the same man, who under a gazebo apologized to have brought her back the painful memories of her parents

the same man who apologized to pushing her into the dark depths of a room when she crossed him...

the same man who kept his hand on her head assuring her that he was on her side while she fought with her personal demons...

the man who amplified the bad always and underplayed the good...this man fights his personal demons in the same sphere as he battles his attractions for khushi...hes conflicted and clear at the same time...he hurts her and he hurts from within all that the same time...now that acc to me is being the true anti hero...

but that i think is his learning curve...we've seen him come so far, and each time despair when he kicks off the improvement...but its all part of the Mask known as ASR...the one thats slowly cracking, but yet still a huge part of him...

the day this transformation is complete to the extent that he never goes back or feels the need for ASR will be khushi's win.

it maybe too late...it may be a modern day tragedy, but no one will ever disagree that on that day it was Khushi's win...

@Priya: That was so cool...despite the Ooo Sai Raam in the background I must say 😆.

I am sure all of us have experienced this, when you might be ready to call quits, the other person wants to lock horns, and then when they are ready, you hurt over what he just said. Brilliant point made by you, opening up a different perspective to the whole conversation, esp when Arnav is now the Devil incarnate with his words.

Yes, I await the day of Khushi's win! She has been the only one capable of peeling the layers, delving into his very mind and make him retrace and retrack his words. If he was the jungle cat on prowl, she will slowly tame him to make him house tabby! 😆

Arnav lovers...dont jump on me 😃

Hello Sush, how is the current situation?

About the editorial comment, you answered your own question. Arnav is a villian in ArHi story, so someone needs to play a part to get them together isn't it?

Oh whom did Devi Maiyya or as the song says Maula choose the loser "Mr. Shamless Jha" attorney at law.

He played a vital role in bringing these two together and in future too he is the one who will bring them together.

@ underlined...i disagree with you on that... yesterday the moment she started acting happy...Arnav was seething with the fact that she didnt think much of the engagement...what about him, what about what just happened with the payal..so he asked her she dismissed it time and time again...he got angry..felt like she was dismissing the moments they spent...at that time in the car he needed to know that she feels something too..so he asked her so that he could see her hurt...today is a different story all together, if you remember yesterday the last look she gave him..said it all...what she feels..the hurt..the pain...he saw and knew she felt something for him..she saw what he felt too...so today again, because he knew that she saw what he feels...he felt the need to distance himself from her... he hurt her with his venom coated words, and the prove to that is the shock that she felt from his words about the payal today, she didnt doubt the moments yesterday, but today she did

i know i left a really long rant above...but i really wanted to add this too...

i love a strong female character...one that gives back as good as she gets...khushi should now show him that side of her...show him that even if shes hurt...shes not gonna give up her gumption...shes not going to give up what made him fall for her in the first place...

a weepy mopey khushi me no like...though at this point of time even waking up out of bed may seem like a task, but she needs to get those shoes back on and

so while arnav rages on with his anger...she should calm him down with her sheer strong personality...he'll get angrier...thts when she shd get calmer..

i dont know if this made sense...or if it looks like im contradicting wht im saying...

point is : I love arnav as the gruff guy with his personal albatross and wht it makes him do

i love khushi as the happy camper who with her emotional baggage tries to right the world for everyone but herselfm one who doesnt bow down to anyone or anything

in midst of all this, i think the process of finding that even footing is what will make them stronger together...

i would hate for either of their characters to be compromised or change overnight...
