'Maha' episode was a letdown!!!

So there was all this hype on here about the maha episode and I got online here in Chicago to watch it b/c I was not going to be home in the evening. What a waste of my morning. No romance, boring family scenes, and more of the same old nonsense. In my opinion, there was nothing 'maha' (if the word can be used as a stand alone) about this episode!!! 😲

I like the regular everyday episodes much better. Anyhow, I see everyone commenting and saying this is the 'best' maha episode ever so I had to share my opinion b/c I feel like I may not have been watching the same thing they were...hahaaa 😕

Felt like there was too much missing for this to be labeled a maha episode. No wonder SP didn't promote this.

Just wondering if anyone else felt the same way I did...

Anyhow, I'm going to go enjoy the rest of my morning!!!

While, there was nothing 'maha' about the epi, as u rightly said- there never is anything maha :)

The point of the episode is good fun and giving build up for the week to come…like an extended friday

Story never progresses- and yet, it's a build up to come..

the rom-com was liked by many around I think :)

and drama toh hona hi tha..

sry u were disappointed…but well,nothing was supposed to happen today!

anyway, have fun for the rest of ur day!

Agreed, there was a lot of dragging, realistically they couldve had this entire episode down to about 30mins but they dragged it along with unnecessary scenes. Yes they were funny - did they move the story foward - no!

What i wouldve liked was to see Arnav feel something for Khushi and vice versa, but i suppose he was cheesed off with the turn of events. Another thing - why go through a jungle?! Cars WERE coming past them where they were waiting, it wouldnt have been long till they got some help.

Anooother thing, why on earth hasnt Arnav got a spare tyre (or did Khushi take that out?) Im quite sure if they stayed put they wouldve got a lift to some place but he was more then happy to leave his oil free car in the middle of the road lol

They needed to build some background up to unfold masti, and romance next week... so they couldn't show any romance happening now.. otherwise it won't make any sense at all na... see firstly they need to arrange a setting and then work with it... which they did by Arnav's car breaking down in the middle of the road all thanks to our very own Jalebi bai, and then Payal being called to RM to help Lavanya out!!

So the Maha episode was kind of constructive... but I agree that there was lots of room for improvement... like less of Shyam and Lavanya!! and more of PayAsh if they had to incorporate other characters!

In IPKKND, usually Mahaepisodes donot show something "Maha"

It always pave way to something big

I'm sure that next few episodes are gonna rock

absolutely agree wid u..i felt like as usual daily episodes..d nly difference was 1hr duration..nothing MAHA happened..

bt nothing to say,,its a trend..MAHAEPISODE means nothing maha happens..d actual MAHA happens after d ME..

actually i am loving the CVs for not going away from their defined story line just because of maha epi, i agree that they were building up.
payal is coming so payash will move in their baby step to next step.
will shashi babuva come to ram and see rani saheb 😉

bua did not tell about kushi and shyam marriage openly there is never a open discussion why?

arhi are moving in their relationship. loved the way arnav kept his cool
if it was blah i am sure he would have blown her head off

Not Just in IP, In almost every other serial, Nothing Maha ever happens..The stage is set for Maha to unfold the following week ...😃
