To emphasise the importance of the post, I have to bear reminder to some of the situations in which ASR brutally abused KKG on previous accounts.
1) During the Fashion Show fiasco, where our jhalli pulli and her bad timing decided to wind her up in the middle of ASR's life...and his business. It's a no go. He accused her of trying to sabotage him. She could only weep silenty, the confused lamb, enforcing the point again and again that she really was only there to sort out her sisters marriage.
2)Again when due to someone else's fault a model walked out the shoot, he shouts at her to wear the tiniest dress and ofc for traditional KKG, he lands her in a moral dilemma.
Whenever he's shouted at her, even more important than the fact that it has never been a deliberate action on her part/her fault at all, his woes against her have all been business related. His business. His life. Don't mess.
So, Anjali specifically warns Khushi not to let the kids in Arnav's room sincerely due to the model that lies there waiting to be presented to some business pals/BigShots.
Not only is the model damaged beyond repair, (don't you love how little Shree deliberately tipped it over) but our LG (Lad Governor) finds that someone has graffitied a 'tache in a vibrant bright blue all over his otherwise ' *wolf whistles* Handsome Hunk' photograph.
Khushi's already stressed trying to handle the runaway nightmares, thus when she hears ASR shouting from his room. We know and fear the worst.
It's showtime.
(I actually in my usual dramatic way held my head in my hands when I saw Shree knocking over that model) ...you can imagine how worried I was for Khushi when she ran panting into the Rakshas' room.

But we didn't get what we expected.
Instead, ASR asks her whether her name was Om Prakash...and even that was quite calm given his renowned temper. When he sees the photograph again I held my breath...waiting for that volcano to erupt. Again I was surprised when ...well, it didn't!
He turns to Khushi thinking that she is the root cause of all his problems till date, she just has to touch things and they self implode. And I knew he would turn to her but...
Even as he accused Khushi, did you not sense a non-aggressive tone to his voice. It was as if he just simply wanted answers, rather than to insult or hurl abuse(his usual choice of words have followed the latter e.g Accusing Khushi of being a gold-digger etc)
Even with that answer, it wouldn't have been to seek revenge but really just the plain truth.
It was even clearer when for the first time he actually believed Khushi when she said she hadn't done it...😳 (Yep, I was grinning like a fool here)
Ok...okay...Oh. Kay. So the people of the universe and critics and generally everyones probably wagging their finger at me and saying "but he did shout at her in the end"
Despite that, don't you think he's calmed down? With Arnav and every other human being, there exists a "tolerance level" only so much he can take. And maybe, maybe not it varies with people according to who they are. So for Anjali he can bear alot from her, she knows how to make him understand and know how he works/likes and dislikes etc. With Nani, he's quite impatient... With Khushi this, as we wintness from today's episode, has grown substantially. It took a while for him to burst...but the thing to note is that he has relaxed with her.
What brings on this change? Seems to me that the recent change can predominantly be associated with his new ability to seek forgiveness. It was too cute when he said sorry to Khushi and even then he had to be "different" and say it twice. Khushi's shock was justified. A LG does not say sorry. Ever. Were my ears ringing? Maybe its a one off? ...
And of course it's always in Arnav's nature to prove her wrong, Only this time, I have to say, I wasnt too bothered by the gesture 😉
Anyway, point being- His apologies to Khushi last week have procured something within him which also allows him to forgive in the same manner. He was always an impatient obnoxious typical rich entrepeneur. For the record, he still lives up to this...but there is a definite change going on. Else how has he allowed his work to suffer in this way, and no one is punished for his loss?? I for now am loving the little changes! 😃
