IPKKND Two sides of the same coin

Even bef Diwali quite a few fireworks r exploding right here in the forum with some ppl criticizing the current track & some ppl supporting it. I thought i w'd play the devil's advocate here & argue for both sides.

To the detractors who ve been fuming since yest or rather since this LA LA training began, take a deep breath. I ve this Deja vu feeling of been there seen all feeling myself. I was personally furious wen the writers closed KKG's 2 day old shop & shoved her into the RM & down ASR's throat. Where is that bold, upright honest gal supposedly brimming with self respect & dignity that she resigned aft the guest house fiasco. 1st they ruined her respect by removing her spine & making her become a naukar in RM. Then they ruin her character completely by making her a nosy nitwit who hares around cooking up some hare-brained ideas to make ASR attend 'ROUND ROUND' (quoting LA here), filling juice in his shoes, making LA gatecrash into his bedroom in bridal aka SR attire. Sheesh Like Tom Cruise yelling "SHOW ME THE MONEY" i want to yell "SHOW ME THE BRAINS". Then that annoying Nani who is so rude 2 his DIL Ms Hello Hi Bye Bye & LA. Lady u r a bigger autocrat than ASR & La was completely right in calling you Gabbar Singh! Do u want all the young women to become clones of Anjali Bitiya? Add the annoying NandKishore who happens to be almost in love with the jerk Shyam, the saccharine Anjali who gives me diabetes, the brainless Bimbo La who took so long 2 realize that her darling ASR doesnt care 2 hoots 4 her & Sheesh wat a cocktail. And i dont even want 2 get started on that creep Shyam who flits frm RM to KM w/o even going near the court where he is supposed 2 b toiling away earning his livelihood. Finally till ASR acknowledges his love & takes her as his GF/wife a 3rd person like KKG has absolutely no rights 2 meddle in the personal life of ASR. Fair points friends & this round belongs to ur grp. Yell away to glory.u ve every right 2 crucify the CVs (watever that means. i just picked up that term here in IF).

Now lets stroll across to the other side of the fence where there is a fierce tribe of IPKKND loyalists who fervently argue that the story is going in the right track. Let me put fwd their points. They had 2 discontinue the office track coz every1 was complaining tat its a copy of Geet. They had to close the shop coz they raked their tiny brains but really couldnt come up with ideas for continuous ARHI encounters. So this SANSKARI crap 2 make ASR & his darling KKG 2 bump into each other every day. They came up with tis track of Chamkeeli chamkeelifying La as well coz only then ASR w'd kick out LA & they can get the ARHI romance started. They cant expose Shyam coz the leads must fall in love 1st bef they spiral into the HATE mode. They r showing KKG as nitwit coz apparently most of the junta who watch hindi serials seem 2 adore only such nitwits & give a spike 2 the TRPs. Shining eg is the Doormat Nitwit GOPI vahu of Sathiya fame in SP. Ppl seem 2 equate idiocy with innocence & seem 2 like such heroines & hence this chg in the characterization of KKG. Seems like this grp also has some strong talking points so Hurray 2 u folks as well & lets c how the CVs now take the ARHI track fwd with La out of the picture.

Finally being an independent working woman, i feel bad that the writers ve made all the woman characters appear dim (La), loud (Mami), dinosaur (Nani), nauseatingly sugary (Anjali), wallpaper (Payal), annoying (Bua) or nosy nitwit (KKG). Typical stereotyping. In fact ASR comes across more genuine coz he is never unfairly rude 2 any1 even mami or La unless really pushed against the wall by the nosy KKG. He comes across as sober, rational & level headed. All this hue & cry bt him manhandling KKG. Plz gimme a break. Tats just over exaggeration by the CVs. No1 can hurt ur hands like that by just holding u tight. Even in the office scene he let her fall only coz KKG specifically said that she w'd preferring falling rather than being saved by him. The only time he crossed the line was wen he physically abused her aft the fashion show fiasco & wen he released the video tape 2 the channels. Thats a strict NO NO & he must apologize 2 KKG.

Phew, a really looong post & i am sure as usual not many w'd read this & fewer still w'd respond. But then atleast i ve done my duty of adding fuel to the fire 😃

Yes at times I am disappointed with the way they shaped up Khushi's character. I would have loved to see her sweet shop flourishing while she is still fulfilling her contractual obligations with the Raizada's. At least she would have had something to fall back on.

I do not agree to some points that you have written in the last para. The hue & cry caused by Arnav's manhandling of Khushi is not exaggerated. Whatever he has to say can be said without using physical strength. As for allowing her to fall because she preferred it that way - she was wrong agreed but he is responsible for her welfare in office. I wouldn't like to be punished with permanent physical disability just bcoz I was foolish & brash enough to refuse someone's help to prove my point.

nobodys forcing us to watch this serial then why complain? we watch this serial bcas we like it..if we dont ..we can always watch somthing else..its as simple as that..😳

Liked your post becuase i also think leaking the tapes to the media was the real abuse ASR has done to Khushi.
