Great post, Sumi! Yep, Khushi is the most misunderstood on the forum ... but it's okay, we have experience of that, don't we! 😉
I loved the way she was so happy in the morning, as though a weight has dropped from her shoulders, at this new changed equation between herself and Arnav ... it wasn't just the apology, it was the hope that their dealings would be different from now on ... hence the wide smile she gives Arnav when she enters ... for her it's forgive and forget ... he hurt her, he apologised, and that's it ... move on. And the way when he doesn't respond, but just scowls, she says Laad Governer is back ... she's realising slowly that he wears different faces ... and is learning to accept it.
And I just LOVE the way what happens between them is so completely private ... I liked the dupatta scene more for that ... that Arnav realises why she is wearing the dupatta the way she is ... without saying it, they are both shielding each other from the rest of the world, and hiding what is going on between them ...
Like I said in another post ... she's doing her job in the best way she knows ... she's only eighteen/nineteen years old, and now La wants marriage, so she's trying to help her in that ... even though she does know what Arnav's reaction will be ... but that's her job ... teaching sanskaar, which definitely includes marriage, and excludes living-in ...
I really do hope that the next confrontation scene is different though ... and has the remembrance of the apology scene between them ... I feel this whole thing is leading to La's exit
