Honestly if it wasn't for many members on this forum I don't think I would have written my FF. People who read and do comment on your work seriously want to hear from you. And Suvi's right write for your own satisfaction rather than others. It's far more enriching and fulfilling.

I completely get your point... I write FF/OS/SS and sometimes barely get commented on...and even if pple comment they are very short. But as I am a reader myself I know that I read SO MANY ffs and I really do appreciate everyones work but I just dont have the time to write long
comments on every SINGLE ff I read...that'd be ALOT lol..
but you have to see that there ARE pple appreciating your work when
they read it...even if they are silent readers. Also some writers update
very quickly which just makes it even more time consuming as some times
I dont get the time to even read the first update n their ready wit the second. I follow a certain group of writers whose work I enjoy and tht
inspire me. Those writers, I will leave long comments. It's really up to
the reader and you can't really do anything abt that. But please just understand that there are SO many pple reading your ff and your dont even know it...so its wrong to give up your talent just because no one comments.

i am very stubborn didnt give up .. it was just a wake up call for the silent reader...
