I'm Priyanka and this is my first fanfiction on anyone actually.!
There are some absolutely fantastic writers out here and their works inspired me to pen this down..I really hope it'll be appreciated.😳
The characters of Khushi and Arnav are similar as portrayed in the serial and this is a one-shot story.
I am just going to post the first three paragraphs of the story. Please comment and let me know whether I should upload the rest. Constructive criticism is greatly welcomed.😃
Thud-thud. Thud-thud. Khushi woke up to the loud and insistent banging on the door. She closed her eyes for a moment to check whether it had stopped. Thud-thud. But alas! Her luck. She removed her blankets with great effort and made her way to the door sleepily. "Hmm..??" she queried with a sleepy slur and closed eyes still heavy with sleep. "Khushi?" She woke with a jerk at the voice and her eyes went a little round seeing the owner of the voice.
Staring back at her was the object of all her dreams, the source of her happiness and the very reason for her tears Arnav. Khushi shook her head a little. Shutting her eyes with force and placing her hands on her ears simultaneously,
she reprimanded " Khushi stop it. You are dreaming. He's not here. You are in bed. WAKE UP."
Arnav Stared at this crazy girl who even blabbered when she was half asleep. Letting his lips stretch into a rare smile he stood looking her for few minutes. This tornado had come into his life by accident and turned it upside down. She dug out the feelings which he had sent to an early grave and played havoc with them. She had achieved the impossible-made him think with his heart. Touching her right wrist lightly, Arnav tried again,"Khushi?" This time the talking stopped and she looked, really looked at him.
"Yes?" Khushi asked meekly. Meekly?! What was wrong with her? She never spoke nicely with him, let alone meek. "I think you owe me an explanation." He said with an unusual courtesy. Did his voice told a trace of sadness or is my mind just imagining things again, wondered Khushi. But his words surprised him and she couldn't hide that in her voice. "Sorry?!"
