... and that is -
PROTECT THY LOVE, and feel
GUILTY for doing something wrong.
Hi guys, I'm here again today. 😳 And that's because I have another unspoken moment to analyse for you and myself.😳
previously, we already saw him take the first 2 steps to love, Admiration and Respect. Today he took the third one, and that is offering Protection, and taking the Guilt-trip after a tiny part of him realised he was wrong.
He first felt guilty when Khushi left his chamber, her eyes drowning in tears. She could not say anything against him, since he had full authority on her, but she could not accept defeat either, since it was her beliefs standing with a rope around their necks. When she walked out, and he looked at her walking down the stairs, that's when I saw that pain in eyes. Yes, something clawed at his heart painfully, and yes, he was the reason behind that pain. The look of hidden dread, anguish creasing his brows, ah. You know that this guy has fallen hard. With every attempt to hurt her, he's hurting himself more, and that realisation of that pain, makes him guilty when he sees her in the parking lot, pathetically shivering due to the downpour, in a cold night, just as cold as him. Looking at her suffering with the chills, and him standing under the umbrella as warm as he can be with the many layers of clothes he's wearing, you can see the comparison right there, and I'm sure a small part of Arnav's brain mocked him saying, "so you think you're all strong and powerful. You wouldn't have half the strength this seemingly fragile girl has." Yes, he feels guilty, which is why he's trying so hard not to look at her. And after that slight scolding from Mr Dutta, that guilt turned to pure shame on his face. I think a part of him realised that power means nothing when compared to character. Which is why he could not stan any longer in her presence. And this is how, ladies and gentlemen, for the first time, Arnav Singh Raizada felt inferior to the lady towards whom he was unintentionally and unknowingly completely besotted.😳
So, for the once last time to redeem himself from his cruel attempts to break this exceedingly strong woman, he protects the one thing she is not capable of doing, her physical being. The way he snatched her effortlessly from the incoming car, and the way khushi completely latched herself to him with her full trust in him, amazing. on one side, Arnav's conscious mind is slightly confused as to why he did it, on the other side, Arnav's sub-conscious self felt relieved to have done one good thing to cancel out his previous misdeed. Khushi, you can see that she actually trusts him a lot, well at least her sub-conscious self. Somewhere she knows Arnav Singh Raizada will be there for her, no matter how much she hates his guts. She is getting to know the kinder side of Arnav Singh Raizada, which only his family members are aware of, but no one outside his family knows the real him, and khushi has managed to see that today twice. First when he granted his permission to save "khushi's laaj" and second now. Khushi is probably confused as to why he saved her, but confusion is good. at least she'll keep thinking about him!😉 and khushi being the one who can connect to her sub-conscious self way better than Arnav, will realise her love for him first. Plus she's smarter than ASR anyday!😆
back to point, now the precap gets me to a very confusing point. WHY IS ARNAV SO BLOODY PISSED? well, after I reread my post, I got enlightened!😆 I'm referring to my first para,
" I think a part of him realised that power means nothing when compared to character."
Arnav Singh Raizada is pissed at Khushi, for making him falter!!! Khushi is making him rethink his beliefs (well the new ones, that is to be cold and hard and power is everything, burying all his past life)! The nerve of Ms Khushi Kumari Gupta for making Arnav so confused with his life. Yes, Khushi has now finally managed to meddle with his brain. His heart has already been tickled quite a bit, but his mind, now that's a hopeless cause.
Ah! This is where i shall stop my rambling. I wish I'll get more scene like these, with hardly any dialogue but brilliant acting by the actors that convey tons of emotions and thoughts. I'm thinking I should do this "step" thing by Arnav's POV for the rest of the show. What say guys? Would you like me to do it?😊
