Chapter 1

FIRST TIMES

'When nothing goes well, go to sleep' she was so exhausted that she never even wanted to try but dozed off the very minute she lay down

Not many know about this face in the life of the chirpy and vivacious queen of the tellydom. 'shows after shows' every commoner found her lucky, but not any thought of the hardships she is going through or hard work she is putting in. There are times she almost cried seeing her being tagged a pretty face or a mere luck factor. And literally nothing new is happening in this new beginning as well

That day witnessed the much anticipated launch & press meet of Dard-E-Dil. She found it little uncomfortable for the ever first time in her career to be in limelight; in front of the media, in front of her fans. Because she is more or less acting there too, as herself who is not at all herself. Those smiles in the photoshoot sessions, the laughters in the interviews everything that she shared with the Great Shlok Agnihotri was nothing but fake. For the good of her production team, her fans she considered.

From the very day they were introduced to each other Aastha found it so uneasy to accept Shlok as an individual. It's not about ego; it's not about stardom or anything professional. There are some persons in all our lives, whom we just can't stand and we fail to have a single reason to argue why. For Aastha, Shlok happened to be one such from the beginning itself by mere ill fate. Aastha find it so difficult to have such a vibe for her co star as it's her first time with any. And that irritated her in that deep sleep too. Herself being so lively, everyone of her co stars shared a bond of ultimate bliss with her. But Shlok Agnihotri was her first time in every sense. May be she knows or she is yet to know.

For Shlok Agnihotri, Aastha seemed to be a puzzle he can't solve in any way. Being a women's man he is, Aastha appeared one of a kind. And now the reason for his sleepless night.

It's just a month we met and just a week we started working together actually, what went so wrong in this short span of time?' He can't even figure out.

A piece of sh*t! I cant jus understand her. Problem kya hai uski? How the hell can she be this rude to me and fake as if everything is absolutely fine? Such a dramebazz'

The entire photoshoot segment she looked thoroughly disturbed as I I misbehaved with that idiot! And at first place I never even flirted with that lady dramebazz like I normally do. Is she always like that? Then why the hell that Nikhil & Sid her former co-actors, sounded as if she is the cutest & sweetest small creature to ever exist? My foot' he continued that monologue almost involuntarily

And why should that bother me either? If she isn't fine, pretty much her problem. Why should I bother' reality struck him hard, leaving him confused much.

Then he tried to sleep, to just get out of his thoughts tightly hugging his pillow. But sleep betrayed him there too. More for his dismay, the thoughts of their last interview given, haunted him.

Flashback

Interviewer: tell us about D-eD

Aastha: it's nothing but a love story of Riya who is a strong headed girl, journalist by profession & Shreyas who is a budding businessman. They happened to meet professionally & D-e-D will tell you how their relation progresses

Interviewer : tell us about your offscreen eqn Shlok

with a stern look at the, lady sitting pass by; Shlok : Good enough

Interviewer : Shlok again to you, Who would you choose Riya Alexander or Aastha?

with visible surprised look on hearing the question ; Shlok : BOTH!

Interviewer : If you were asked the same Aastha? Shlok or Shreyas?

She laughed looking at him with that eyes which are big enough!

He felt as if he is scolded by a school teacher for some prank he did.

Obviously both' , she laughed giving some effort to, which only Shlok can see

Interviewer : to fans

Aastha : YES! You were our strength and always will be

Keep supporting D-e-D and I'm sure you all will love it

Both waved a flying kiss before signing off with the segment!

She can act so well onscreen or offscreen' he laughed still hugging his pillow

Lesser did Aastha, the media or the fans know, I'll even fall for a girl like Riya Alexander but no chance with Aastha! Baap Re!

And lesser did Shlok know, She had given up the same long ago

I'll even fall for a guy like Shreyas Malhotra , Not Shlok dammit

And lesser did both of them know God Almighty have different plans for them already!

And there shlok drifted to that kind of sleep we wonder when we did, the next morning.

And a love saga is yet to start as per the destiny!
