PART 15

{{RECAP: Shlok and Aastha end up sleeping together in her room cuddling to each other but doing nothing else.. Shlok hides under the bed when Jyoti and Varad come to visit Aastha in the morning..Sid says sorry to Jo for proposing her and they decide to be "just friends"..That morning, they all start together for the trip to a beach famous for adventurous water sports..}}

Shlok and Aastha walked behind everyone else and Shlok put his arm around her shoulder naughtily pulling her close to him.

As: Stop it Shlok..
Sh: Offo..No one is watching us, Aastha..

Aastha took off his arm around her and walked a little ahead of him. Shlok looked at her irritated and thought. "Don't worry Aastha..You want to stay away from me huh..Then let it be."

Aastha got into the bus and sat down with Varad. Jyoti and Sojal were sitting together. Shlok eyed Aastha with attitude and he went and sat down with Aditi. Aastha narrowed her eyes in anger and he rolled his eyes at her in mock anger.

Aastha thought.." Oh no..Why did he sit down with her...?"

Then she thought "Hmmm...Trying to make me jealous huh..I will let him know what true jealousy is.. You don't know me Shlok Agnihotri.."

As they reached the beach, everyone began to get down from the bus. Shlok and Aditi got down together and he walked with her on the beach.

Aastha saw that Karan was walking with one of his friends and she approached him unseen by Shlok.

As: Listen I want to talk to you, alone.

Karan's friend walked off with some other friends and Karan turned to Aastha.

Ka: Hello..Aastha, right..?
As: Yes.. Karan..I need your help..
Ka: Of course..What can I do for you..?
As: I need to make someone jealous..Can you help me..?
Ka: You are talking about Shlok...I know..

Aastha looked at him with a surprised look on her face..

Ka: You both love each other..I can see that in your eyes..Look Aastha..He is my best friend..And Aditi..She is my fiance..So you don't need to feel jealous for him being with Aditi..

Aastha was literally shocked now..She was staring at Karan, with her eyes and mouth wide open..

As: Oh my God..!! Aditi is your fiance..? I didn't know that..
Ka: I proposed her on our college's final year..And now we both are engaged..
He showed her his engagement ring and Aastha noticed Aditi's finger. She had a ring too.

Ka: They were best friends in college..Shlok and Aditi..But we both fell in love eventually..But he hasn't shared anything about you to her till now..That is why Aditi asked you if you were dating Shlok..

As: (smiles widely) Oh..I am so sorry Karan..Thanks for telling me..(holds his hand thankfully)

Aastha joined Jyoti and Sojal and it was then that Shlok started looking for her. He saw her with the girls. He was so surprised to see that she was not even paying attention to him and Aditi.

He thought "What is with her..Why isn't she jealous..?!"..

Aastha could see him eyeing her, but she now knew the truth and there was no need for her to bother if he was with Aditi.

Ad: You love her naa, Shlok..?
Sh: (turns to her surprised) What..?
Ad: I can see it in your eyes..Now don't you deny it..
Sh: Yes Aditi..I love Aastha..
Ad: And I know that you are trying to make her jealous by being with me..I will help you..
Sh: (laughs) You know everything..Smart girl..(hugs her happily)

Shlok again looked at Aastha's direction to check whether she was watching them hugging each other. But no, she was laughing at some joke Sojal made at Varad. Shlok got so irritated at himself for the stupid idea of his. Damn her !! She is so cool about it. He broke off from the hug quickly and walked towards them, without saying a word to Aditi.

He thought, "What was so funny that she was laughing so much. And oh my God..! She looks most beautiful when she laughs."

Aditi watched him walking towards the group and she understood that he was attracted to her as if she was a magnet pulling him towards him. She thought .."Just now he wanted to make her jealous and the next moment he wanted to be with Aastha. Shlok was such a play boy in college and he used to flirt with almost every beautiful girl. But Aastha is different from them all.."

She was happy for Shlok who seemed to have made a perfect choice finally. Karan approached her from behind and hugged her.

Ka: Nice pair..Shlok and Aastha..
Ad: (smiles) True..
Ka: By the way, I just told her the truth..that we are engaged..
Ad: (laughs) Very well..huh..

And they walked off from the scene, holding arm in arm.

Shlok reached near Sojal and he tried his best not to look at Aastha. Aastha was eyeing him with an amused look.

Va: Hii Shlok..Where were you..?
Sh: Was just hanging around with my friends..
As: Tai..Let's go and walk around a bit..
Jo: Ok Aasthu..Come..

And they walked off hand in hand. Shlok felt really angry at her. But he shrugged it off.
Shlok wanted to do something adventurous. He wanted to try parasailing.

Sh: Varad, Sid..Shall we do parasailing..It will be fun, I guess..
Si: Woww..Great..!
Va: No Shlok..I am afraid of heights..You guys go and do it..

Shlok and Sid high fived each other excitedly and went off. Just then Mansi approached them. She smiled at Varad.

Ma: Varad..Would you like to come with me for speed boat ride..It will be fun and I don't have company..
Sojal grabbed Varad's hand suddenly.
So: Sorry Mansi..We were going to try water skiing..Isn't it Varad..(looks at him with a wide angry eyes)
Va: Oh Yes, Mansi..Sorry huh..!
Ma: Oh..!! Sure (but clearly hurt)

And Sojal pulled him along away from Mansi. Varad couldn't understand what made him listen to Sojal and reject Mansi's offer. May be he feels more comfortable with Sojal.

And Sojal was thinking the same thing. Why did she ask Varad to come with her. May be she didn't like Mansi. Or maybe she doesn't like Varad hanging out with that girl. Or was it possible that she had started to like Varad's company. She brushed aside such thoughts and walked towards the sports area.

In the afternoon, all six of them met up with each other for having lunch together. Aastha was still ignoring Shlok completely. He was getting really agitated at her behavior now. They all had their lunch and went off for trying some other water sports.

They all tried a banana-boat ride. Shlok and Sid also tried water skiing after hearing that Varad and Sojal had fun doing it. Aastha and Jyoti tried Parasailing. They all had loads of fun.

In the evening, everyone was feeling tired when they boarded the bus. Shlok deliberately followed Aastha closely into the bus and forcefully took his seat near her. Aastha was still faking anger at him and he couldn't stand it at all.

Sh: (whispers angrily) Stop it Aastha..You know that I did it to make you jealous..and that I was not serious.
As: (looking out of the window and sings playfully) Laaa-laa-la...Lallaaalaa..Hmmm..mm...Ooohh..

Shlok thought "enough of this non sense Aastha.." and he extended his hand to her waist and tickled her. Aastha jumped and gazed at him. He raised his eyebrows and looked at her with lots of attitude. And he pinched her waist suddenly. She jumped again and stared at him with wide eyes.

As:(whispers) What is this, Shlok..? Behave properly..
Sh: (in a low voice) First of all you behave properly..What is wrong with you..?
As: (in a low voice) Ok..Firstly you get close to that Aditi and then you are asking, what is wrong with me..?
Sh: Ok..Then do as you wish..Be angry..(turns away from her) Whatever!!

Aastha suppressed a giggle seeing him disturbed . She thought " Got it, Mr. Shlok Agnihotri..This is your punishment for fooling me.." She chuckled sweetly, and gazed at his angry side face.

After having dinner, Varad, Sojal, Aastha, Shlok, Jyoti and Siddharth got into the lift. Every one of them was so tired after their adventurous beach rides. When they reached the second floor, the other four got out of the lift leaving Aastha and Shlok behind in the lift. They avoided each other and actually both were missing each other inside their hearts.

The doors opened and both of them got down into the deserted corridor of the third floor. Shlok got out first and he walked ahead of her in a huff. Aastha followed him and her heart was telling her to console him. He reached in front of his room and was about to unlock it and she too turned to her door to open it. Shlok gazed at her through the corner of his eyes and she too looked at him likewise. She wanted to wish him Good night before sleeping. But if she didn't try to patch up with him, he won't even allow her to wish.

As: Listen, Shlok..
Sh: (angrily) What is it..?
As: (meekly) I know that Aditi is your best friend and she is engaged to Karan. He told me in the morning itself..

Shlok's expression changed from frustration to funny within seconds.

Sh: YOUUU..!

And the next moment he put his arms around her waist from behind and picked her up from ground. Then he put her down and started to tickle her incessantly.

Sh: Aasthaaa..You are a drama queen..!
As: (tries hard to escape) (laughs) Shlok..Leave me..Please..(laughs harder) Nooo..
Sh:(tickling her harder) This is punishment for you..Got it..(tickles with both hands around her waist)
As:(laughs and laughs) I am sorry Shlok..(eyes full of tears after laughing) Please...Stop ittt..I will not do so agaiiinnn...

Shlok left her finally and she was finding it hard to balance herself. Panting heavily, she composed herself somehow, looking at him. He was also bent and panting hard, looking at her.
