My observation of late is that in nuclear families, the kids have a room, so the concept is catching on. Once the child is a teen or even a preteen, sharing a room with parents is no no.

Reg the question of kavya, I think she slept in NA's room just the once, if it was more it was not shown, they only showed kavya negotiating with aastha for more goodies and favors. She should also be kept away from chacha n chachi at nighttime for sure.

Can't believe they can't a room for little Kavys in the huge agni mansion where everyone seems to have their own study or office at home
