I'm sick of what cvs are showing lately so instead of getting all angry about it I thought of writing an Ashlok story.
It would start right after shlok tears the smiley month countdown. It includes Kavya as a very Iimportant character in Shlok's redemption. Would anyone be interested in reading a story where Astha and Shlok play parents to our angel Kavya? I promise I will try my best to write it and bring smart, sassy Astha and kamina shlok back
.

Please start and update soon. That would be cute that kavya will be aashlok's daughter waiting for the update.

Hi guys this is just a prologue. I'm calling it Family matters. Also, I'm not really an Aditi fan so she won't be staying for a long time at all. Sorry if there are any errors beforehand. Please tell me what you think of this. This is dedicated to the lovely Tehsina Di. Her work inspired me to give this a shot...

Prologue
" This is our destiny Shlok. Only one month left , then our relationship is over. " Astha's sad voice matched the almost dead look in her pretty, bloodshot eyes.
Ofcourse the words hurt. They were true. And the truth has a nasty little habit of stinging like a sore wound.

"What the hell are you talking about? Remove it from there. Our destinies are in our hands and not on stupid walls."
The faces on the blasted card sheet seemed to mock him.
She will leave, you idiot!
What woman would bear your arrogance Shlok?
Unable to bear the taunting faces and HER voice in his head, Shlok ripped the sheet into pieces and threw them across the room. "Mujhe bi apne asise hi pheka. After all apke liye mein kachra hoon " Astha mumbled softly.
Shlok's eyes widened at her words. He remembered the ruthless way he'd manhandled her after he found she'd burnt his stuff. And Varad dada had come in.
Things had just gone downhill since then.
" You're right" he growled "Tum mere liye sirf kachra Ho."
Astha felt her battered heart breaking yet again.
She fought the tears that were slowly making their way to the surface. Shlok stared at her, noticing for the first time how she resembled a broken doll.
" Good morning! " an annoyingly cheerful tone shook them both and they looked up to see Aditi, all dressed up, complete with a smile that clashed with their current feelings. " I made tulsi chai. Woh bhi Aditi special! " the new entry's peppy tone was affected by how disturbed the couple looked.
" Kya huan? Shlok tum Astha ko tang to nahi kar rate the na? " Aditi scolded Shlok who immediately put on an apologic look. He was always such a good actor.
" Woh. .We were just... Being a couple. Arguments are a part of it, right honey?" Shlok put an arm around his wife. " Y..Yes... hum toh buss...ase hi" Astha stammered. Aditi was a mehman. Why bother her with their issues. ' Aur mein use Sach kahungi toh uska pyaar par vishwas bilkul khatam ho jaega. ' Astha thought, smiling up at her 'dear' hubby.
"Vaise, Shlok meri pyari behen ko jyada pareshan mat karo warna Woh tumhe choodke chali jaegi" Aditi joked.
To Astha, it was a sure thing , one that would break her heart again.
To Shlok, it sounded like an omnious prophecy, one he'd do anything in his power to prevent.
He grabbed his wife in an unexpected hug.
"She's not going anywhere. My lovely Astha belongs with me." He forced a smile.
Astha was dying inside. She wished his words were true. But she had promised herself she would not think if things that would only cause her pain.
Aditi smiled back " You too are soo sweet together. Ok, abhi I'll leave the chai here. Drink it while its hot" Aditi left the room with a giggle and a wink. "See you later, lovebirds."
As soon as Aditi left the room Shlok whispered to Astha " I told you this is a life sentence. You are here till your final breath." He let go of her and grabbed the cups from the tray. He walked back to Astha who looked pretty shaken with the new information he had told her. Staying forever in this house full of unfair rules and agony with a husband who didn't want her didn't appeal to her at all now.
" Here, Mrs. Shlok Agnihotri" He offered her the teacup.
She looked at him in confusion, stunned at the gesture.
" Take it" Shlok ordered.
" I don't want it. I want to go home" Astha whispered.
" But you are home" Shlok frowned.
" Wrong, Mr Agnihotri. I am in a house. This is not a home. A home is full of love and respect. A caring family. This is anything but a home! " Astha replied, anger seeping slowly into her words.
Shlok's jaw tightened with anger.
But before he could say anything, Astha had locked herself into the bathroom.
THIS IS ANYTHING BUT HOME.
Astha's words echoed in his head. He took a sip of the tea.
It was hot and surprisingly bitter .
And it completely matched his current mood.

It wasn't just Astha and Shlok who were aware of the time ticking slowly, working against them.
And life as they all knew it was bound to change.

Love the prologue I know the story will be good can't wait to read the chapters just want to say if everything is in English it will be good thanks other than that it's really good

Lovely! Please do continue. Sounds very interesting. This is one way of dealing with the frustration. If you can't beat them join them and make up ur own storyline. Please do continue.
