The Story of DDLJ era IPK Fans... That's me 😆 and maybe a few more in this world like me😳.

Ipk... what was it? A hurricane that took everybody to a level of madness? A madness which is not cured even today... rather becomes a global endemic...Barun has moved on Sanaya has moved on but the rest of the world seems to be at standstill...so just wanna share this with Barun while he is fresh from Thailand.😛

Barun,

your chemistry with Khushi felt like a pair coming from our dreamland...

when you held her tight in rain, shivers ran down our spines.

You two burned our screens with the heat of your almost kissiya!

Even when you were away on leave for your debut film shooting; the chemistry continued to sizzle on our screens.

You both were so ajeeb! No distance, no walls could stop you from hearing each other... You just had to say, Khushi, sun sakati ho mujhe?

Barun, you redefined Romance for us.

We were DDLJ generation. Haath mein basketball leke Rahul ne humse kaha tha...

"Aadmi sirf ek baar Muhobbat karata hain! Kuchch Kuchch hota hai, tum nahi samjhogi"

We believed it totally for a whole decade. Then You came, you turned your face to us and scowled, " what crap!.

Love changed, Barun! Love changed!

All Shahrukhs, Salmaans, Aamirs, exited from our hearts instantly. Love was Arnav for us from that moment on. We just had to see you once and we were like

"Ek ladke ko dekha to aisa lagaa, jaise..."

Synonym of romance was Arshi for us! When you both were getting married, your chemistry made us float in heaven, drown in gutterlands, travel in time ahead expecting a cute preggy track. You remember the birthday wish at almost midnight with a rose? Sanaya had tried her hands at directing it and there was a fun off screen extension of the scene where she was preggy n you kissed her. Oh! how we started dreaming of further tracks! IPKKND was truly our dreamland!!

Then boom! The bomb exploded. The show closed while it was on peak and there was sudden void in our hearts, a despairing gloom in the air! All of us went in Meera mode...

"Aisi laagi lagan, Neha ho gayee magan, Voh to forum forum Barungun gaane lagi!!!"

The IPKKND fever spread like virus epidemic. Star Plus knew how to milk this Kaamdhenu cow! They made you and sanaya dance and jump and tell us " Yeh kahani aage leke jaayenge. We suddenly went ga ga ga ...suddenly back in our dreamland ! In our clothes choice, Pink became the colour of suit for handsome manly hunks.

You were back on our screens but you didn't feel like our known ASR! You chatted, you didn't growl! Your trademark " What The! " was missing.

You had said, "main kissi aur ko Maa nahi kah sakata. In this version you called your beloved Maa, Mom! And Aakash, Manorama Maami, Dee, even for that matter Khushi just came and went like a reunion. We felt like we saw a web series VM.

The Beauty of IPK can not be captured entirely in one post, one VM, one forum, one blog, one channel, or for that matter any networking site...

It's a Phenomenon... a continuing phenomenon...A LIFETIME JASHN!

Do watch

IPK is the most exciting love story. And it is this story that introduced me to a unique talented actor Barun Sobti.❤️

I agree and disagree at the same time. For me IPK was definitely a magic. But everything is long past. I don't want to see this couple anymore. She is no longer interesting to me. I want to see only Barun in different roles, in different projects, with different actresses. I want to enjoy his amazing play, imbibe every emotion in my heart. I always don't have enough of him, because I know that all the characters played are not the limit of his talent, he can play in any genre of the most complex characters. And I want to see them all. It is this which is my obsession, my illness, and not ArShi.

I apologize for my English, I'm writing with a dictionary. I hope that my thoughts are clear 😃

Speaking of Barun,Sometimes I miss him so much, I just wanna appease my aching heart by not thinking of him or loving him! But can I ever even remotely try it? Never! Especially when, he loves us viewers beyond all norms!

He may not be active on social media but he never fails to consider our entertainment. Truly a man of actions and not just hollow talk! Through every act, he gifts us his best and something distinct. In spite of the writing getting decayed to "rasam rasam no rice, served with kheema of storyline" in IPK3, his love for us bloomed, giving us absolutely unique experiences.

What he does with every character he portrays! He reads the script, understands it and then goes and literally lives the character. His expressions bring out the innermost layers of the complexity of the character... This man does not need dialogues... he doesn't need huge screen footage... he is there hardly for few seconds... with maybe just half broken dialogue or just one word... and he makes us all his with the active absolute portrayal of every emotion... How can we not love him?

IPK1 had a hospital hug, Tanhaiyaan had a little different garden hug, IPK3 again had pub hug. The writing seems clich, but he ponders each moment and adorns it with the most beautiful unforgettable expression; bringing to life a very individualistic, a very original, a very specific emotion.

There were consummation scenes in all...IPK1, Tanhaiyaan, IPK3! A man who's not comfortable doing romance on screen, conquers over his personal inhibitions and makes the love story unique, by giving his total self, all of him... His looks, his expressions, his pauses, his moves... something indefinable, something unnameable in them... yet you fall in love with the idea of love... He makes you believe in fairytales!

There was a ferocious dammit burst out in IPK1, a fractious burst out in Tanhaiyaan and then intimidating dammit again in IPK3. His treatment of every scene is so brilliant depicting total conviction to the emotion. The crescendo of his dialogues is so unique like a singer pulling a soor (note) in a deep pitch or otherwise raising it to higher pitch...the raising of decibel such that you get goose bumps in one or heart chills in another!

We have all seen most clich, most ordinary, most predictable drunken acts in tellywood and bollywood. But watch Barun as Arnav in Holi scene... "Pagal hai par cute hai and then go and watch Hyder in truth scene... "Meri rooh mein jhank liya usne. He'll make you feel...make you experience all that I have been saying above.

He doesn't know dancing... he doesn't go and get dancing lessons to fit into entertainment norms neither does he allow this shortfall to become hurdle in scene delivery... he exactly picks the rhythm of music plus the rhythm of emotion at that point in time and moves sinuously hitting two birds in one stone... his co-stars get complete freedom of their talent display and we get precise experience of the character. I have hated watching actors and directors butchering a known character just because actor has dancing talent and director wants to encash on it. If ASR danced, we saw an exact ASR the way he would dance in our imaginations. That's his respect for us.

I am in love with his conviction. It's noticeable in so many things as I mentioned above and also in my earlier posts. It's his conviction with himself, his capabilities; that he dares to come without makeup on screen. Yet with expression alone he makes the scene appear so much more natural... You actually feel abashed watching his close ups of romancing scenes... it's like being present there, actually watching a real man and not an actor... An absolute live experience.

When he cares so much for us, gives us himself so completely... how can we not love this guy, how can we ever tire of singing his praises, how can we resist seeing him on screens, in FFs, in VMs, in GIFs ...unending list!

Barun Sobti is my favorite actor! He is like a wizard of oz, gives each of his fans what he needs. We are fascinated by his brown eyes, Sunny smile, beauty not only external but also internal, warmth, mind, his masculine qualities, his charm, charisma and sexuality are so attractive. Barun's talent and acting skills in films and TV series give even more opportunities to learn about Him as a creative person and about his priorities and life credo. I love all his works, and Arnav is my first love, thanks to this role I learned about such a wonderful actor and man as - Barun Sobti.

I love all of Barun's characters. More than others I love Arnav, Haider, Advay and Arjun. And I'm really looking forward to a new character Barun in Asura. I hope this role will be worthy of his talent. 😳

Happiness is synonym of watching Barun Perform...Barun's Movies!

We were all in 'Inteha Ho Gayi'kind of Intezaar mode when MAMR released. Let's be honest that box office way it was not so great... bashers took the chance and blamed Barun for bad choice of scripts... That's where my heart appreciated him all the more... His choice is always well selected.

MAMR had a unique concept that there is no readymade MR. Right specially made for you in this world... love is all about starting the journey called life together and suddenly en route, you realise you're in love...when, how...such questions never have a definite answer in true love.

MAMR flopped. But Barun glistened...With Guitar in his hand he sang to us
" Bhool na jaana, mujhe ! yaad na aana, Mujhe! "

Oh Barun! How can we ever forget you? We may forget to breathe but not forget to remember you. You know, you are our Saanse Ruk Jaayengi wala love! And how can you not remember us? Impossible!

Speaking of chemistry! When Barun and Shehnaz sat in his room, she slept off on your shoulder, he looked at her and lovingly tucked her hair back. For us, it was Barunwala moment!

The way Barun does the role, it almost feels like he's living the character...but then I ponder over his MAMR shoot and simultaneous IPK kidnap track...this man was working in two shifts and managing Arnav in most serious part like this

And at the same time, he was performing most comical Sukhi like this

From one set he was going to the other and see the transformation in him...not a single moment where you see similarity anywhere in two characters... Arnav seen in Sukhi or Sukhi seen in Arnav...not a single shot where either of the character is not perfectly portrayed.
