Background: Everything that happened in the show happens here up to the point where Advay threatens Chandni in the kitchen to leave or else he will cause more trouble for her mother. The following happens right after Advay walks out of the kitchen after delivering his threat.
Chandni stood shocked as Advay left the kitchen. How could Advay hate her and her family so much that he was willing to use his own beloved nephew as a pawn. She had always heard that love is blind but today stood witness to hate being blind as well.
She knew Advay would make sure that Adi never consumed anything she cooked with mushrooms but should she risk it? Would the house members think she had tried to kill Adi by exploiting his allergy? Could she break naani's trust in her? She also couldn't let Advay cause more trouble for her family. She could just leave herself so Advay would have no reason to play these games. However, she was scared. Scared of being on her own. She couldn't just leave and face the harsh world alone.
Mama ji. She remembered Mami ji's small house in Banaras. Chandni knew he would welcome her with open arms. She just had to gather enough courage to overcome her fear of being outside to reach his house. With the strength from Dev's stone, she could do it.
She was brought out of her thoughts by the smell of burning food. She quickly turned off the stove and walked out of the kitchen towards her bedroom. She bumped into Shilpa on the way and asked her to clean up in the kitchen. She hadn't had a chance to unpack her belongings. Despite living in the house for the past few days, deep down she knew she didn't belong here so hadn't been motivated to unpack and settle in. She quickly repacked a few belongings she had taken out for daily use and walked over to Advay's bedroom.
She knocked once and was told to enter. Advay looked surprised to see her.
"Mushroom daal diyay?, he asked.
"Nahin.
"Tum acchi tarah jaanti ho keh mein tumhari maan...
"Is sab ki koi zaroorat nahin, she cut him off. "Mein yeh ghar chodh kay ja rahin hoon.
Advay felt a mix of relief, sadness and disgust at himself. Seeing her everyday was a constant reminder of what she and her family had done to his parents. He had ran back to Mumbai after marrying her because seeing her cause too much pain but also because he still felt a pull towards her because no matter how hard he tried he couldn't seem to stop caring for Chandni. He was relieved that the constant reminder of the destruction of his family was going away but disgusted at himself because he knew a part of him would miss her walking out of his life forever.
"Kisi say goodbye kehnay ki zaroorat nahin hai. Naani aur Pooja ko mouqa mila toh tumhein rokein gain aur mein ab bhi tumhari maa ki zindagi aur mushkal bana sakta hoon.
What could she do but nod in acceptance. She left for her room to grab to her suitcases. She took Dev's stone out and held it for strength.
Meanwhile, Advay called Murli on his cell phone. He told Murli to keep everyone busy so no one would see Chandni leaving the house. Advay decided to drop Chandni towards the bus station. I have to, he told himself sternly, I have to tell her one more time to stay away from me forever and this is the only reason why I am dropping her off. He met Chandni at the bottom of the stairs and told her he would drop her off.
"Is ki koi zarrorat nahin, Chandni responded.
"Zaroorat hai. Tumhein hamesha apni Zindagi say nikaal phenkney kay liyay yeh confirm karna zaroori hai keh tum is shehar say jaa rahi ho. Jitna jaldi mein tumhein bus station pohuncha doon, unti jaldi tum meri zindagi say hamesha key liyay ja sakti ho.
Chandni wanted to insist on refusing him but realized she didn't have enough money to take the taxi and pay for the bus rent so agreed. Chandni didn't have much trouble leaving the home as she had Dev's stone in her hand and it was getting easier and easier to go outside every time she did it.
They had been driving for almost fifteen minutes when they reached the bus station. Advay had noticed that she was clutching something tightly in her fist throughout the ride. They both got out of the car once Advay parked it. He went to hire a porter to carry her luggage while she got in line to buy a ticket. She walked over to him after buying her ticket for a bus leaving in ten minutes.
They both stood looking at each other for a few moments in silence. Chandni didn't know what to say in such a moment to someone who had showed her nothing but hate. However, she couldn't help but feel that she was leaving something important behind. She didn't understand it but she had always felt a pull towards Advay. Advay was a mess. He was feeling too many emotions to make sense of them. Hate...Relief...Satisfaction...Sadness..Betrayal...loss. One thing he knew he had to do was to make sure that Chandni would never ever step into his life again.
"Agar tum kabhi waapis aayi toh mein toh dhamki denay ki zehmat bhi nahin karron ga. Seedha tumhari maa ko us ghar say nikal kar sadak pay lein aaon ga. Tumhari maa to kya, tumhari behnon ko bhi badnaam kar kay rahay goon.
Chandni clutched Dev's stone even tighter for strength.
"Mein nahin jaanti aap ney yeh sub kyon kiya. Lekin inta jaanti hoon keh chayay aap nay mujhay barbaad kar diya ho lekin aap khud bhi ander say barbaad hain. Jitni andheri aap meri zindagi karna chahtay thay us say kayi guna andheri aap ki apni zindagi hai. Aap key paas pyaar karnay walay bohut hai lekin aap phir bhi akelay hain aur hamesha akelay rahein gain kyun keh aap kay ander nafrat ki aag bhatakti hai aur nafrat hi aanch har rishtay kay sakoon ko rakh kar deti hai.
Advay knew she was right. He still had family members who loved him and he did love them back but he wasn't happy. Adi was the sole light in his life but even he couldn't take away the pain of losing Miku.
"Mein aap say doobara nahin poochoon gi keh aap nay yeh sub kyun kya kyunki mein jaanti hoon keh aap jawab nahin dein gain. Lekin itna jaan liyay keh agar mein tabah hui hoon toh aap khud bhi tabah hain. Shayad mujh say kayi zyada. Mein kabhi waapis nahin aaon gi. Is nafrat ka safar bus itna hi tha.
With that she turned out and bumped into the porter standing behind her. She stumbled a little but didn't fall. However, Dev's stone slipped from her hand and fell on the floor.
Advay who had automatically moved forward to steady her noticed the stone on the floor. He remembered giving it to her when they were children.
"Tujhay jab bhi dar lagay toh is pathar ko dekh lena, Miss Badbad. Yeh teray Dev ki nishani hai aur zaroorat padhnay pay yeh tujhay strength dey ga.
Why did she still have it? How dare she walk around with the stone he had given her when she had lied about his mother! How dare she think she still had the right to hold that stone. Was she delusional enough to think Dev would forgive her? He wanted to ask her these questions but kept himself in check. She was exiting his life and nothing would change the fact that her lies led to his mother's death. His parents would still be dead and his Miku would still be missing. He wanted her gone as soon as possible so he could drown himself in his work again and stop thinking of his past every time he saw her.
Chandni didn't look back even once and walked away after picking up the stone. Advay also got into his car and started driving around without a destination in his mind. Chandni was sitting in the bus thinking over everything that had happened in the past month.
Kyun... Kyun... Kyun... Kyun... Kyun...
That was the question echoing in both of their minds. Advay wondering why she still had his stone and was holding it today. Chandni wondering why Advay hated her and her family with so much passion.
Advay couldn't help but remember the childhood moments he had spent with his Chandu. Chandni couldn't help but remember all the times he helped her out despite hating her and the pull she kept feeling towards him.

Advay is still driving around meaninglessly to get away from his thoughts whereas Chandni has no idea why despite everything she wants to cry not because Advay ruined her life but because despite everything he did she knew she would miss him absence from her life forever.
