This has made me even more impatient 😭
Neha di I was going to PM you anyway to write your review how you felt after watching the film but you did that already 😆
PS: Can you elaborate a few more scenes because you know I can't watch it 😳

Don't cry, Sweet Pratyasha!

Dekh sakati hoon main kuchh bhi hote hue;
Nahi main nahi dekh sakati tujhe rote hue!

I can understand the issues you gals have.

I Have been to Kolkata once about 27 years back for a conference. Had seen the traffic then! Our vehicle stood in the traffic for 3 hours in the same place and a theater was very close by. Could have seen a film in that time. I'm sure road infra and transport have hugely improved now, but traffic situation remains the same or worse due to exponential growth in vehicular population.

Traffic is not my only memory of Kolkata... I had absolutely loved the Kali Mata mandir and the Victoria memorial, which in night with all illumination, looks no lesser than Taj mahal.

Without digressing much... let's get into your issue. Why don't you and Priyu exchange mobile numbers over PM. Then, with Priyu's help you can check offers online for discount on tickets. Some bank cards have really good discounts. You can take permission from your parents and borrow their cards. Phone service providers give good discount on matinee shows.

Regarding the transport, you can try metro , meet at some common point n then go to the theater.

Just imagine, two absolute Barun fans watching Barun's film together! You'll have a gala time. Worth a try!

That would actually be a good idea 😆 But even Priya is in the same boat with me. My parents will never allow me to watch a movie with ticket price 350+ or 700 for a movie with actors they don't know
Even if I've told them a billion times how good the movie is but unless they are convinced nobody is going to allow me
And not that a lot of people know about it so that I can tell them see this person(these have to be the people they know) have watched it, liked it and recommended to me.
So what I've understood is I'll have to wait patiently for me to grow up and earn money 😆 so that I can do what my heart says 😃

I opened the thread thinking some real emergency

I am so happy u loved the film
And your hubby is impressed a lot
That is what is making me feel elated
Has he become a fan now ?
Then u can discuss Barun with him
Social media is just abuzz with praises for the film

I scared most of you, didn't I?😛 😆😆 But you guys enjoyed after reading my post, right?😉 And then thanks to Neelum maine Barun ka naam title mein add kar diya. Thoda aur dhamaka.

Hubby ko fan main banaake chhodungi; aise hi thode na jaane doongi.

In the night, I made him watch 2 Tanhaiyaan episodes where Barun excels in emoting. Hubby actually sat with me and watched and later said, Barun is the actor who exactly gets into character and can deliver what's required for it.👏 👏

Myself expert at manaaoing and pataaoing hubby.😎

This is from another thread:
I saw it evening show here in Long Beach, california.. unfortunately most Indian population & most Indian movies are released in Orange County.. thought of going with friends group, but everyone was busy with Diwali parties..
Instead went with my mother, 15 yr old son & hubby.. unfortunately theater was empty except for us & another lady who came alone..

But even my 15 yr old US born son who doesn't watch Indian movies, loved it & was putting on Insta about it to all his friends... Needless to say I loved it.. still thinking about it...

Problem is that they released Indian movie in theater where there is not big Indian population.. not typically associated with Hindi/Indian movies..

Though I did read on twitter that New York had houseful shows..

But glad that in India at least it is showing to healthy audience

Hi!

It's so good that same as me, your family also liked the film and you invested time to share your frank opinion around it. As you said, the movie is so good that even a 15 year teenager brought up abroad understands the values given in such a comical way.

The points you have made are right. Movies not having typical glam values are perhaps not even marketed well. Yet, Barun and the other cast did max possible from their end. Now, it's on us as Barun's true fans to spread word of mouth to tell people that this movie is truly worth watching.

I have put up this write up. You may copy paste the same on your insta , similar to the way your son is trying. If 30 members who have liked the write up make an effort to go and watch the film and spread their word of mouth , then the movie will succeed.
