HI all,
Our journey together watching IPK3 has come to an end...! A lot has been said analyzing the show...I don't want to do more of that here...

Let me just post a few collages from over the length of this journey which is how I will remember it...

FIrst thing that stood out for me was...A sad and angsty Dev who goes to Allahabad to find Chandani...who he believes has betrayed him...This scene captured their emotions well...

The feeling of having been wronged...on Dev's face...
The feeling of being shaken aft being accused of something she doesn't even understand...on. Chandani's face...,

There was simmering anger...from hate
and feeling of loss...from lost love...

The anger in his eyes and the sadness of separation in her eyes...Those episodes were so intense

Lovely tribute, Sush
Miss Shwets and her collages.

When I look back, going through the collages, I find the creative team lacked focus. I feel they must have felt the pressure from the opening week itself. What disappointed me finally with the track change is, the then writer Harneet talking about audience expectations of a light hearted romance. I think the writer never understood what the audience had geared up for - an intense story told coherently. Bursts of brilliance is never enough to sustain an audience. Also, I think they finally took the feedback from the praises directed at the chemistry scenes. The criticism that should have helped them, was ignored. Well, human nature!

When we talk of lost opportunities, ultimately it is only learning experience... Whether it is turned into a positive growth, is entirely up to the team members.

It is not that revenge tales are not acceptable to the trps... The story should be told in a gripping manner. Content is not enough, execution is equally important, if not more!

But like I said, I don't regret having watched this at all! All the best to the team members.

Sush - Sushpectives as always are a welcome change in otherwise insanity going around in the forum👏.

For me it was an enjoyable journey. The journey that started with anticipation and excitement which did not last for long since frustration of never ending ride took over and yet all the agony of it was lost once the destination achieved. 😃

Wish every one on the sets of IPK a very good luck for their future endeavour and hope that we get the chance to discuss a show soon😃

Which rock Shwets is hiding under Bhavi?? I have been missing her too...She did a fab job with these collages...like I said...I just wish I had a couple more to complete this post!!

There was indeed a lot of anticipation...for me ...it was a wish coming true...watching a new IPK with Barun ...that too as ASR...and some of my favotite things in the show like the music...

i am over that now...[I think]...and will explore other things...

Sush thanks for Sushpectives on this forum. There are lots of "If-only" that is going to be associated to this show but in spite of all of that I am glad the show got a befitting end. The past really was shot well and was intriguing enough. And I think finally Gul could do justice to the story she wanted to tell. I still don't know how the technical team couldn't deliver this good of a premise - If the technical team including director, costume designer and screenplay writer were good then this show would have survived and we would have gotten a good intense love story.

But I have no regrets - The show was marred by unnecessary negativity and people have been abused for more than 6 months. No one deserves that kind of abuse. And it is better that the show ended by the whole past and everything dealt even if it was opened and closed in supersonic speed. And Barun along with the whole cast aced their roles spectacularly - Advay Singh Raizada will be a layered character played by Barun with finesse and will always be remembered. I wish Shivani goes to a better show from here - For a change I would like her to do a multi-starrer because the pressure to deliver was too much on her in this show. I wish her all the best and hope she gets her due in her next show at least.

And the best part of the show ending is that there is no Satyanash associated with the show ending. i am glad the team as well as the fans have been professional enough in handling the show closure and there has been no spamming and no ruckus created online in the show's name. Offline Satyanash often mars the joy of enjoying the show and I am really happy fans as well as the whole cast are being mature enough this time around. And no blame game whatsoever. Thank god. After watching Barun in THMS on big screen I feel this guy needs to do better projects on big screen and if he gets some good offers because of THMS, I will be really happy.

In a way THMS positive news have largely offset the news of IPK3 going off-air so I am happy on that front. Now I will be waiting for Barun's web series to come out. I hope that is handled much better as there is no TRP pressure associated with it.

It was pleasure interacting with you on this show and hope we will meet on some other show in future. For the time being I am going to go mute on IF till something of Barun comes along. He is the only actor who has charmed me and I can actually wait for him to come onscreen. Hopefully the wait will not be long this time around.

Take Care
-Sharada

It is easy to see how passionately you feel about the show and the cast...Like you I wish them the very best ...I am going back to watching some American TV...and taking a break from desi shows...may be you can try that too...!

IPK1 did ignite a flame that people kept burning for 5 years and felt ownership (rightly or wrongly) ...The sense of ownership was so strong that the expectations of how it should be or should not be became hard to meet ...Unlike many others i had no issues with accepting Shivani as the FL and Rabba Ve as the background music...but I could not accept an ASR who didn't dress like ASR1 or didn't have a heart of gold like ASR1... so thinking back...I too am guilty of some of it...although the degree of which and mannerism may be different...

Any way...nothing anyone can do now...apart from acknowledging some of the feelings of people who felt so strongly against it...perhaps that can help everyone move on...

Hi Chick...yes, I too feel the TRP pressure started very early on...which affected things...

I am a strong believer that each experience shapes a person, and their way of thinking whether the experience is good or bad...so this sure will have its impact...No doubt!
