Barun Sobti's fans couldn't contain their happiness when he made his comeback on Television with the third installment of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. The show saw him romancing Shivani Tomar onscreen which did not go down well with his fans.

Following low TRPs, the makers of the show have finally decided to pull the off on the show. The last episode of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3 will air on October 6,2017.

The news itself was announced by producer Gul Khan on Instagram. Sharing an Insta story, Gul wrote, "Sad but true. IPK ending on 6th October. Thanks to all the cast and crew who worked day and night on the show. Thanks to all the fans who supported us. I wish luck and lots of love to the entire team. Hopefully we will connect soon. IA."

Barun's chemistry with Sanaya Irani was much loved in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and fans awaited to see their favourite jodi back onscreen. However, when he returned with Shivani, the latter had to face a lot of criticism.

The show had lot of potential, it had excellent story, cast and characterisation especially chandini's character initially was super strong, matured but the execution of the show was worst then possible and the costumes were pathetic and now even the logic can be seen no where in the show. Whether however low the trp is they should have not changed the storyline like this. For a logical person it's very difficult to was the show now even being a ardent fan of ipk3 and barun I have stopped watching the show from past three episodes, actually wished we could get a proper romance and redemption track. No hopes left

If you are mentioning about this story then it is just she is praising the team of IB and QH. Because both are hit shows. She did not mention about ipkknd3. I could not find that twitter msg. Anyone can help me?

I just checked with my instagram. it's there. just click on gul picture. I don't follow gul but just started following her. Her Id is gulenaghmakhan right?

I am wondering. Did they even ve a plot of story in mind or decided that they can just sell this half baked product by using Barun's popularity. I am literally fuming now...

When S1 fiasco happened I swore on all that was holy that I will never take any show seriously. Now dejavu. History repeats. Again with IPK. Again with Barun. God I want to scream at the unfairness of this all!!!!!!!

According to Harneet, they had been writing for the show for 1 year before it started...guess their writing was just crap..

I will not promise myself that I will never watch an Indian sabun again cuz I know I will be back for Barun. Hopefully his next show is with some other PH who doesn't make a mockery of sensible themes through non sense like Chandu ka swag
