Most people find it difficult to connect to Chandani...I feel like she is the only character I connect to, feel for...(I am liking Puja also...but it is too early)

Most people want Chandani to give it back...fight. I feel like it is the other characters who need to vocalize less (specially Advay...My goodness, why does he have to keep repeating all the venom about her being charcaterless, not caring for the family...not understanding anything...BLAH BLAH BLAH...like seriously man? Any one losing respect in my eyes...is you...who is talking nonsense, at every opportunity...ok may be due to some MUs...but do you really have to keep saying so much??) BACK OFF DUDE!!! Think more and speak less!!

I don't find Chandani to be very inconsistent or a cry baby or a weakling...Her issue is that she thinks about everyone else before her own interest and ego, is emotional and is not the one to pick fights...I am actually so relieved that she is not like a typical soap heroine, who walks around with a chip on her shoulder...giving it back to everyone...because she is somehow better than everyone and must spread her gyan...In fact the reason I stopped watching IPK2, which I watched for a few episode and the reason I got turned off ETRETR...was because the FL leads talked so much...and most of it was not wise any way...

Ok, there...I said it...Perhaps I am the odd ball...and no point just saying my POV again and again if there are no takers o no one else feels the same...

hi Sush! i am Sudha... u r not in minority! i like her characterization and can understand where she is coming from! i am a highly educated working woman myself but i am also very non-confrontational, i dont like picking fights, i am not bubbly, i dont like preaching etc... in that sense i find chandni more real than whatever few fls i have seen in other serials who love the sound of their own voice!! so pls dont feel like an oddball!! also i love your posts!! they are so sane and logical!!

i think the writers are to blame for not writing good scenes for her till now. but in thursday's episode, she gave it back to advay in a very soft manner.

Hey sush it's ok to have our own favourites we often relate to a character without any effort because the character is someone we know or relate to in real life or because the writers present a character so clearly that one can't help but relate to person

Here the writers have failed the character but I think they're slowly making it up and hopefully will be consistent in the execution

Please don't misunderstand that I'm supporting advay's actions heck what he's spouting and what's in his head are two different things atleast going by today's episode flashback he's reminded of that breakdown scene where chandini confesses about her past then he remembered haldi scene and finally the marriage.

So in reality his head is warring against what his heart believes in his heart believes her story his heart accepts her as his and his heart wants to give her all the rights of a wife!!

Don't know if I made sense but the execution is poor that's the issue despite the improvements there's something that's missing.

Please take a break and come back when you feel like and who knows within the next few weeks it'll be team chandini all the way!! 😆 😳

Good to hear back from you. And about the show, I have said this before and I am saying this again, creativity/ work of fiction is open to interpretation. You and I are two different individuals and each is entitled to their own POVs. There is nothing wrong with it.

I know how much you like Sobti and how eagerly we had waited for the show to begin. So during the course of the show if you prefer Chandni or connect to her, it is absolutely comprehensible. The show has different characters, with each one having their own set of pros and cons or virtues and vices, with each character bringing forth a different hue for us to appreciate and like. So its a given that different people will like different characters. Some may like Chandni and some may like Advay. And as far as we all can respect that amicably, I see no reason why none of us or all of us cannot talk about the show, highlighting the good and bad, without ripping each other apart.

Sushpectives are known for the neutrality and impartiality that is very sharp-wittedly penned and dispensed by you and I see that as a big strength for the threads that we have had so far. And as a friend I have always and will always respect your perspective and will, to share your thoughts through Sushpectives, as and when you have liked.

Re-iterating what I had said a while back, Sush, as long as you are penning down and posting Sushpectives, I pledge my presence here just as I promise to watch the show for as long as Sobti is on screen. And there is no denying it. Period.
