This jailer is her beastly husband who looks at her with nothing but cold hatred. At least Nani's presence warms her heart. Blessing in disguise, this ghastly marriage. 😆

Seeing your husband killed in front of you IS a big deal. Not disputing that. But you said C's trauma is nowhere near P's trauma. I think that's harsh. P had a good childhood. She was happy. C on the other hand has always craved for mother's affection. This is why she's of appeasing nature. It can happen. I have seen it in my own extended family. What you experience in life does condition you as a person and affects how you react. C is a little restrained because of various experiences and circumstances. P never had that.

Look, do I want C to fight? Hell yeah! But lets' not downplay what she's been through. She will stand up to Advay. All in good time.

It took Chandu so much effort and the will to keep her dad's name to even step outside the house for like a year ... then Advay came crashing down over her world. Then she started giving it back to him, and another trauma hits - a wedding like this. She'll need time. Right now she's blank ... tho if the opressor says dont move, she wont move. But Chandu is not Paro dear ... Like Zin said she's been dealing with blows all her life. But she does come back and fight. She's strong. She overcame her fears to go for the pooja, do the aarti after the poster fiasco hit the town, went to confront him at his guest house and said she would stop him even while she was a little scared of him, then she gave him a taste of his own medicine with the magnetic chappal and remote and then went spying on him 😆
