The part that stood out to me was the mama recounting what had actually taken place. I agree with Indrani on this that they all own a share in this sinister game irrespective if there role was only of silence. I was shocked that the mama knew why Chandni was being taken out by PP and still didn't attempt to do anything to forewarn/ hint to her on how to protect herself if she were to get uncomfortable. What is the point of being a shoulder to cry on when intentionally he is on her enemies side too 'enjoying the fruits' that came from Indrani''s ruthlessness?
These so called truths/mirror he needs to show himself first that how could he look into that pitiful child's eyes knowing EXACTLY that his sister is planning her ultimate destruction? So, in effect they don't want to disturb status quo - in that sense Indrani is 'better' that she is out and out villainous and clear with her motive + goal.
About stepmother angle - seen too mny real life situations were they've taken care of kids since babies but couldn't give them that place in their heart.

That's a good point Sofna...Mama bears reposnisbility for not doing anything more...but I do think that his heart is in the right place and at least he tried to pursuade Indrani...because in reality he doesn't have the balls to do anything more in front of Indrani...😕

I see many stepmothers in the western world ...who love their adopted/ step children with all their heart...It is possible to do that...what Indrani did is beyond the normal breed of people who may accept their role as the mother to varrying levels...but Indrani...man...she is a horrible person to USE a step child for her benefit ...walking all over her...and commiting crimes...😡

Yes this last week has revealed so much and all to spike up the viewers interest
which will prove to be a good move because personally (inspite of being a die hard
fan of Barun) I too was slowly loosing interest in the show ... at least this new face
of Ritu as the wicked step mother will be an interesting watch
Fabulous acting by the three artists Ritu , Barun and Shivani ...

Welcome back...in that case! I too lost it at some points for the show...but hung on...However that is not the same as really being happy with the show ...as I feel today...

Thank You Sush for the Sushpective..😊😊
A wonderful analysis for the equally wonderful episode.. 👏👏.. It was intelligent of the CV to show how poor Chandani has been manipulated by the Wicked Witch she called as mother.. Now I as a viewer could connect better with her pain and why she has been holding on the fond memories as children, as well as the betrayal felt by Advaya is Justified more coz the circumstance we created in such a way in front of him that everything horrible happened to Dev and his parents is caused by Chandani only. The actors have nailed it today with their acting.⭐️⭐️.
please CV keep on giving us such beautiful episodes...

The show is seeing leaps in terms of writing and execution. The last two episodes were really good. I hope by now Gul knows what is expected of her.
Shivani was very convincing in the PTSD scene...the way she breathed Dev's name and Advaiy perked up...👏 Very simple writing, with great depiction.👏

When Chandni hugged Advaiy, it was the most natural thing.
She called Dev's name...and no Dev came.
But then Advaiy called her and she knew she could bank on this guy. So when she clung onto Advaiy, she hugged him like he was the only refuge.
The entire segment was done well.

I was wondering why the mama character was even there in the show..now I know..it is for Indrani to come up with the mard dialogue.😡 Her dialogue on how she has made everyone who they are...and how they were all participants in whatever actions she took...I found it very realistic. As far as Indrani is concerned, she was never selfish..that is how she justifies herself.

And when she sells Chandni off as the second wife, she is getting her payment for rearing a child who was pushed on to her at 6 months of age. Also, this is the girl with badnaami on her character, so marrying her off to a good family wouldn't be possible. That must be how she justifies herself.

All that revelation and drama...two very gripping episodes.👍🏼

Hi Chick, good to see you and glad you are liking the show again...! So the vibes we were getting about mamas character being gay were right...Indrani does have a point that she provides for the family...Mamas view is...they all have made mistakes...but she is the one who committed crimes...it is a good question in how much of an accomplice they each have been in action and in toughts!

How could one not have loved her great still eyes.

When I was growing up I read this poem of Pablo Neruda and these lines kind of stuck with me. The longing and the pain in the writer's lines always stayed with me. Today when I saw the episode the end was so so emotionally exhausting that I just remembered these lines. I had to actually search for this poem because I remembered the opening line only and forgot the author name. Google helped me out with the line itself. Google zindabad.

Coming to the story and episode What to say. My heart went out to both Dev and Chandni. Yes both are victims of Indrani's wicked ways and all this time you could see the pain of Dev One who saw his mother being burned after being branded a witch and One who lost his brother because his best friend gave away their secret meeting place. Dev thinks he has been betrayed the worst by his best friend and is burning in revenge to hurt Chandni. Nani being a voice of reason tries to reason with him but he is still hurting. The wound is still festering for 16 long yrs.

Today when PP took Chandni for date it was Dev that was jealous It was Dev who was worried for her and called her on her phone. He rushed to her immediately when he sensed she was in danger they have a soul connection. And the way Chandni recounts her terror, her kidnapping and the aftermath, how can Dev even hold himself back. After all this was his bestie, one whom he had such a beautiful childhood with, One who adored him and fought with and One for whom he was possessive. Nope that Dev couldn't just hold back his tears after hearing what all his Chandni had to gone through. Does it mean he is going to forget revenge ? Nope I don't think so. He is going to hurt her and hurt her bad and then he is going to understand her love and walk the redemption path to get to her.

This is going to be an intense story and I am so glad that Gul stuck to her guns when she cast Shivani and Barun for the roles. Today Shivani delivered and how She totally blew away my expectations from her. The fear and trauma of Chandni, her panic attack and her recounting the terror She did it so perfect with no OTT expressions and I really felt Chandni's pain. Barun anyway is awesome in emoting without any dialogues but today he showed every range of emotion from Dev's jealousy, to his denial, to his feeling uneasiness about Chandni and him understanding what happened to Chandni in his absence.

Yes Sometimes Dev Loved Chandni too The last few flashbacks were the icing on the cake. Purrfect

Lovely take PS! Dev and Chandani have both been victims and have both longed for what they had...you are right...this one epsofe will not completely change Advay's feelings ...however...I hope it will at least make him pause and consider...
