About the ending, we can only hope for the best. This is a finite show, so they better give DevNi a happy ending.

By the way, I don't think they will reveal the true identity of Dev so soon. I have a hunch that it will happen only after Chandni falls for Advay, without knowing he is Dev. Before that there will be hate marriage, Advay emotionally torturing Chandni, Chandni hating Advay..lots and lots of angst... etcetera.

Like today he told Chandni's face lit up after getting those earrings from Pee Pee.😕 I mean seriously? He simply imagined the whole thing up coz Chandni's face only had pain and confusion, nothing else.
