Hello to all.Any of you who have seen by previous post in IPK3 forum will know I love to discuss plots and characterisations.
The episodes are really getting interesting as the days go by.
I will just discuss a few things on my mind regarding today's episode -
1)My eyes want to thank the designer for her consideration. Our hero and heroine looked awesome!
2)Scene continues from yesterday. Advay has successfully gained Chandni's permission to touch her, just as he said he would. He has successfully ensured that he does the rasam with her, just as he said he would. But our heroine is no less. She has planned a path of nails to make him desist and abort his nefarious plan of taking her fiance's place. A warning is issued with the confidence that the prospect of pain will make him stop.
But, our anti-hero is dauntless. Dialougues continue to impress me.
Asaan raston pe chalne ki mujhe aadat bhi nahin.
Chandi asks him whether he can stand the pain. He says he will take care of her gifted pain very well. An allusion to the 16yrs of pain she has given him so far and this pain of a few nails seems nothing compared to that.
3) Abhi mujh mein kahin baaki thodi si hai zindagi - the song does not fit the situation. This is the only grudge I have with the episode. This song for me carries feelings of bittersweet love that still sees a ray of hope in life. Except for the bittersweet complicated love between our hero and heroine, I see no relation between any bachi kuchi zindagi and bloodied feet. They should have used more strong angsty number here instead. I hope the writers take care of them small things.
4)Nani - good for Advay, possibly good for Chandni, and very very good for TRP aunties. The CVs bring here I hope as an answer to all common TRP viewers who cannot seem to digest a love story without parental approbation and guidance and even consternation!😆
5) The dialogues just keep getting better and better. Kudos again! Chandni toh meri apni thi!
Finally our hero expresses why he is so angry with our heroine. We are hurt most by the ones we love and in return seek to hurt our loved ones with equal pain. Point to note, when Nani says it is you who is taking my grandson away from me, you who will suffer because of this vengeance, he never denies it. Advay knows he too will hurt and he accepts it as he has no more to lose. More importantly how can any son with some love for his parents live with himself if he does nothing to those who killed them! There is but one truth. Chandni will never be forgiven. End of story, so declares the anti-hero as he allows himself to break down in Nani's lap.
7) Chandni comes with a haldi paste and a humble request for Advay - but she has no apology or regret in mind as of yet. Good. I would have been pissed if she was sorry. IMO, the writers did well here. She knows he has some unknown problem with her, she knows he is toying with her, she knows he carries four passports, she suspects he is possibly a criminal - should she feel sorry for someone who is so wrong in her eyes and who outwardly says he will not let the rishta happen? she warns him to walk at his own risk - she did what she did in response to his actions - that she refuses to hold regret for his stubbornness in following through despite her warning makes me respect her character. If she had said sorry it would mean she was apologizing to a man she thinks is wrong and is who is doing wrong things. That she can fight him at his level, tit for tat, and then extend a hand of peace without regret...writers impressed me here. Does Advay ever say sorry for making tamasha of her in front of the police and family regarding the passports? No. Cuz he thinks he is right. Similarly, does Chandni apologize for trying to prevent a man other than he real fiance from doing the ritual? No cuz she thinks she is right. I like how both stand justified in their places.
Advay will have none of the truce she proposes. He is a man with a purpose and that is to see her fall. Junoon, he declares himself. Not Zidd as she thinks. Junoon for what, he does not specify. Love or Hate. When Chandni was proposing her peace treaty, Advay looked furious. I loved how she asked the right questions, and how he kept shooting daggers at her. 8) Chandni is defined by Dev. Whatever Advay is doing, it might daze or confuse her, but I feel that she will not concede to him until she knows he is Dev. Her bestie is so integral a part of her that she can never be apart from him. Today she confesses her old wish of always being with Dev. The twists of fate that give us what we want by making us think we do not want it!
9)Symbolism - Advay walking with painful bloodied feet after refusing Chandni's lep but still ending up unknowingly putting marham on his wounds...lovely bit this was. So I take it this means that Advay will not falter in his path of destruction against Chandni but despite that Chandni will be able to heal his heart.
10)Murli treated Advay, marvelling how our heroine has put marham on him. Advay wants to hear none of it. When Matardana announces that plan in motion, Advay rushes to the scene despite his injury. This man is really focussed and nothing will stop him from seeing the downfall of his enemy with his own eyes. Pain is an old friend and he has no time for rest.
11) Pyaar toh sab parivaar mein hota hai par humara parivaar kuch alag hi hai. Bold words, Indraniji. That come to bite her in the face in the next moment when the affair if revealed. 😆
12) New plotlines revealed. Heroine was supposedly not on the scene of the crime. Hmm. The plot thickens. Is this a twins scenario? A hypnotism? Or maybe some other deception?
Precap - A satisfied Advay taunting Chandni.
PS - A lot of goris missing our hero in London. I knew it! The way he has been rolling on the seduction, I knew it! 🤣
