You guys add such insight to the scenes!!

I had not even paid any attention to the Vase breaking...My interpretation was ...she was walking forward while looking back...so...she collided into the vase and it fell...😆

But of course...the chance of it without any symbolic meaning is quite low...specially since this is a show by Gul...

About the disconnect...you guys have some really good points,...There is no denying that there has been a disconnect...

I spoke with mom today her views about IPK...will post on a separate thread...because it is about TRP...and I don't want to make the Sushpective thread a TRP discussion...but that explains how a casual TRP viewer is viewing the show...

I am so late. But in my defence I needed more content to write about and I got that from tonight's episode and yesterday's put together. Say what, Farak padta hai is back and our ASR in all his glory along with Indrani Vashisth's brilliant comeback.👏 I might be in the minority Sush, but I have enjoyed the rest of the episodes more than the one last night. And tonight's left me asking for more. I just loved the crisp and fast track flow of things that actually kept me glued to the show for 20 odd mins. What more does a viewer want.

A lot has already been said and discussed about the episodes and needless to say that I do agree with a few things written out here. I think my biggest grouse has been with the shoddy writing, which impacts the general outlook of the show. Which is exactly why there seems to be a disconnect wrt to the story, scenes and characters. Also, at times the things get repetitive imo. But having said, that I cannot and will not take away the fact that the makers are trying to put their best foot forward in order to grab eyeballs. Fortunately, the change of the storyline and characters with the focus on the leads and their scenes, seems to be working in their favour, which is an absolute win. Apart form that, they are trying to bring in new variants wrt to the story - Shakun, PP and Chandni turning into an amateur sleuth. And I see that the episodes are definitely getting better.

Coming to the episode I watched tonight, I loved Sobti and Ritu, they were at their vulnerable best and yet concealed their emotions fantastically. I think even the scenes with PP and Miku worked for me today. And PP baba will be dead meat soon. I liked the bonding of the sisters and I also liked Shilpa's lil stint with Shakun. All in all, I have liked the transition from week 2 and I hope they maintain the changes for the better now.

Before signing off, I would like to say that I absolutely loved the new montage of the leads, makes me realise that the earlier one was from neanderthal times. 😆 And tonight a round of applause not just for Sobti, but also for Ritu Shivpuri, two minutes on screen and this lady steals the show. 👏

PS Just realised its a month to the show and almost 4 weeks of your fantastic takes on Sushpectives. Congratulations to the team and the makers and you and the lovely readers here on the occasion. 😳

PPS Have a fantastic break and come back rejuvenated to give us more on Sushpectives. 🤗

HI Guys,

Sorry to break your lovely discussion with my post about TRP...

The only reason I brought it up was to talk about the reasoning behind the character shift from very dark to likebale...

That shift is a definite plus for me...I hope the screen play adjusts accordingly for it to all make sense...

I agree with whatever your mom said on trps. She is a very sensible viewer, because she knows how to exercise the power of her remote, instead of waiting around hanging, hoping for better times.😆

I don't bother about the trp smuch, because like Barun said- it take stime with Gul's shows..that is also because she takes time to settle down with her storytelling.

About the shift from very dark...even I like Advaiy in his current form. They can accommodate the concept even now, but I don't know if the writers have faith in their own writing, when so much of what they write gets rejected- even before it reaches the viewers at times.

Yet to watch the Friday episode. I liked Thursday's.

Terrace waala MU seems to have happened without the terrace?

Looks like Gul can accommodate her favourite sibling love triangle with Mikku and the two sisters.

Added bonus based on the reviews of the Friday episode- the girls have their aunts showing them the way. 😲 (Double triangle!😆)

Will write more after I have watched the last epi.

Coming back to trps- As I always say- Giving trps to Gul is like giving her an axe.

Better for all of us if that axe stays with the trp aunts.
