LOL! Although short lived, it was fun watching Chandni have the upper hand on Advay. She looked adorable during her imitations of Advay and that wonky smirk was back! He seemed to have enjoyed her antics, even though she had fully planned his exit!
But if Chandni is dramebaaz then Advay is no less! How smartly he controlled the matter, leaving Chandni flabbergasted in the background! Adorable expressions once again by Shivani during the what should be the punishment discussion 😆Really proud of this young lady 👏 She is growing in confidence and it's reflecting onscreen with each passing episode. I loved how Advay was responding to Indrani, but exchanged glances with Chandni at the same time. Barun's expressions were perfect 😳 In PP style...100...100 crore for that gorgeous smile of his!
There were many fab moments about today's episode but one of the things I really enjoyed was the fact that everyone chipped in. Whether it was lipstick mausi not missing a chance to compliment Advay, to Shikha's running commentary, and Indrani's strong presence. She really does look like the lady of the house!
And thank you, CVs for giving us those beautiful flashbacks today. Just goes to show the equation between Advay (Dev) and Chandni hasn't changed much. They still bicker, and he still scolds her. I love the dynamics between them. Advay often has the upper hand due to seniority and uses it to his advantage. And Chandni being younger in age has to eventually listen to him, much to her annoyance!
Emotional Advay was very important for the story. It's a reminder. Behind that charming smile lies a lot of pain. Those soft eyes carry the burden of what he witnessed in the past. Flashbacks of Dev with his family reminded viewers of just how lonely he actually is. Kudos to Barun during that scene. It was enacted with subtlety 👏
But the main highlight for me had to be Chandni entering Advay's room...or shall I say Den 😉 Advay using blackmail as a way to force a punishment on her was pure cheeky! The murgha bano, to writing sorry in the diary... the professor came out in full force! And hygiene freak Chandni horrified over Advay's manner of eating. It was such an adorable scene!! The thing with these two is that they've become very comfortable in each other's company. They seem to like being around each other, even though Chandni protests!
Deep down she's drawn to him and is confused, which is why she wondered if she would ever see him again when he was about to leave. She may not admit it, but she likes seeing him in front of her eyes, every day in the Haveli. He challenges her and brings out her spirit. And for Advay, Chandni is the only real link to his past. Yes he wants to take revenge from her. But in a strange way, it's almost as if he seeks solace in her company. He believes she has given him pain, but she also has a soothing effect on him. They do have a truly unique connection.
Barun and Shivani's cracking chemistry is getting better with every episode. When they come together as Advay and Chandni it's almost poetic. There is beauty in their moments together.
