I totally loved today's episode - they had right mix of family scenes and Advay - Chandni tashan.
Chandni is someone who is right now in a very disturbed state of mind. She is attracted to this rowdy professor but she wants to get married to PP because of her. She is flustered when she is near Advay and she can't take that he has beaten her and made her wear dupatta of his name something which he promised he will do. She is totally angry on the guy for daring to do such a thing and actually getting away with it. So yup she had to hit back and she did. I for one am really glad that they are showing Chandni as someone who has strength to hit back. Just because she was kidnapped doesn't mean she loses her inherent fighting spirit - She has always been a phataka and she still is but right now the spirited girl is buried under her own insecurities. And Advay pushing all her buttons is slowly making her awaken the spirited girl. I do feel she has compartmentalized her mind and has pushed back her anxiety and her nervousness for the time being. She is being dealt with so many things at once - being her mother's anchor, dealing with Advay's charms and his wooing, Dealing with a calculator kind of person PP so yes there is no room for her to lapse into her anxiety issues. That is why I don't see any character disorientation for Chandni.
And for me today's episode mainly got Indrani into play. Indrani is the antagonist so I wanted to see her in play. I was totally floored by Indrani's scene. I actually wanted to see Indrani put her brain in and see that the chunari that Chandni was wearing is not something that they had gotten. Also the fallen chunari was still there on the ground so I expected Indrani to at least think about it. But I let that pass - they might cover it later on.

Sush, What Advay did today was tactful retreat. He can't cause suspicion in Indrani's mind - not now when he knows Chandni is falling for him and Chandni is a puppet in her mother's hand. Chandni's so many proclamations of - Whatever Mother says has indeed showed Advay that Chandni is but a puppet and the strings are in Indrani's hand. That is why he packed his bags - Plus I do think Shilpa has told him what has happened as she took him away after Murli showed him the video tape. So today Advay was doing tactful retreat to come back the next day with proof and clear his name. That is why he tells in the precap that he didn't expect Chandni to play such a prank.
Also for the first time the RabbaVe was very sad - I do hope the show has a happy ending but the RabbaVe was really sad so I am afraid this season might not have an happy ending. Let's see what happens next.
