Hahaha. Maybe you think only sanaya gets bashed. Ever since this show was announced Barun has been bashed.

Also, in this very own MR.Sobti forum, he gets bashed.From the past 5 years ever since he quit IPK he has been bashed, for doing web series he has got bashed. He has got bashed for his flop bollywood movie. He has got bashed for his beard😆

He gets bashed if he signs up shows without sanaya in it. He gets bashed even for loving his wife and for not loving sanaya🥱😕

You think this thread would've been open for this long, had we had a chance to have it be closed? And dont worry, mate. We've seen threads take far worse turns where personal lives have been brought in and bashed. This one hasn't even grazed those dark waters.

I hope people would try and understand and not continue commenting on this thread again. Be that for any reason.

When you spam, when you make so many IDs, when you spread so much of hatred, when you plan about sabotaging the show, when you tell everyone to watch Shakti and Mehek so that this show flops, doesn't the heart of the Barun fan in you break when you visualise him getting all happy about how he is going to portray his character today, about how excited he is about his new show, when you think about his smile when the director says cut and tells him how good he has been as Advay, the character that he is portraying so well, when you think how satisfied he is when he returns home after a day at work, when you think about the same smile when you see all those people from the industry praising him?

I know that you are Arshi/Sarun fans but don't you respect the individuality of Barun and Sanaya both? The show that Barun is doing was not even supposed to be called IPKKND. It was essentially about Advay and Chandni's love story but alas, Star Plus decides to call the show IPKKND. How is that Barun's fault that you are spreading so much hatred about him? Are you really that selfish that you will attempt to sabotage the show of a man who portrayed the Arnav Singh Raizada you all loved so much? Say Gul makes IPKKND season 4 with only Sanaya and puts another version of Rabba Ve in it, would you seriously do this to her too? Why can't you beam with pride that the first season had the first Rabba Ve and let the actors lead their life in peace? Aren't Barun and Sanaya humans who want to try new things in life? Would you seriously disrespect their work just because of a show title? Do you think you deserve to call yourself a fan of theirs if you can't even respect the fact that they exist as separate individuals who will probably never ever work together again because you ruined all chances of them working together with your abusing on so many social platforms?

One last question: How in the name of God does Shivani Tomar deserve so much of abuse? You do realise that all these actors put in hard work and you are simply dissing them. Don't you feel the least bad about how bad she must feel when you abuse her so much? She has only done the crime of being chosen as Chandni when the show wasn't even called IPKKND. Humanity anyone? How can you guys be so god damn cruel?

I am genuinely perplexed as to how you get any happiness by making people you are supposedly fans of lose their jobs, be it then or now. I'd really like views of Sarun fans about this.

Hmm - quite a blast! There are shows where both barun and Sanaya worked indvidually - and not much voice was raised against those shows that they acted. The problem lies with the fact that IPKDD is syncs with BARUN and SANAYA. THEIR JODI WAS SO APPRECIATED BY THE AUDIENCE, AND EVEN TO THIS DAY ONE WANTS TO SEE THEM BACK TOGETHER.. STAGE TOGETHER IN THE SMALL SCREEN. IS THAT TOO MUCH FOR ASKING OR ASPIRING. THE CURRENT LEAD, LEAVE OUT BARUN HERE, HE IS A GREAT ACTOR, BUT HE IS NOT GETTING A EQUAL RECIPROCATION OF ACTING BY HIS OPPOSITE PAIR. SOMETHING A MISS, NO CHARM WATHCHING THIS SEASON.

I hardly comment on this forum,but came here today and saw this so thought to comment! IPK was my first Indian show and I loved it. I loved Arshi and also Sarun. I didn't have a favourite as such but I liked Barun a bit more. I checked out this show just for Barun. Online bashes can't change the fate of a show. Yes those people are mostly crazy trolls but they can't stop anyone from watching. They didn't stop me.

Just coz I like an actor I won't blindly worship them. The fact remains this story is still not strong. Playing Rabba Ve and having a pretty girl and hot guy won't be enough to sell a show. Most people will only continue to watch if the "Story" appeals to them. That juvenile score board that Advay's servant keeps? FTW is that even? This show is not a Youth channel show, its a GEC show on a major network at Prime time. Surely they should know such juvenile antics won't appeal to a wider audience? What are Gul and her CV's doing?

No offence TM, these preachy and moral policing posts won't make any real difference to the ratings or the outcome of this show. This show can get a good result by producing a good story people want to see. Barun and Shivani alone can't run this show. In Season 1 the whole cast was very appealing. Here accept Veer and Shika the rest of the people are pretty much unwatchable. Even the previous Ekta show that occupied this slot had similar problems. The rest of the characters bar the leads and maybe 2 other people were useless and no one was interested in them!

If the channel wants ratings in this slot, they need to produce good content. That is the only way to get eyeballs. This shows fate lays with the channel and the creatives. Not online trolls! Those are the facts!

I hope for the sake of the actors the show will succeed. But this is only possible if they improve the story. At this point the story has much to be desired. They only have a lot of unnecessary theatrics which insult the intelligence of the audience. (Like PP Baba).I also don't think they have stayed true to the original character sketch of Chandani. (Which is a dissapontment). Shivani is quite pretty and she is trying her best. But she can only perform to the stuff given to her. Keteki as Shika is quite appealing.

The rest of the cast, especially that Aunt who says Lipstick Ki Kasam? Does every show have to have a Manorama now? They need to understand it was funny the first time. Now it's getting repititve! Oh My Mata! LOL. Barun looks really good in this haircut, but I feel even his range is getting limited in this story they have given him to enact! His acting is always appealing. But he is not the writer of the show, or the director. Both writing and directing are seriously lacking. I think we need to face facts! The facts are that this show has not made an impression yet, despite the heavy promoting due to its lack of an appealing story!

Look at shows like NK on SP? Does that have major stars? How come they have struck a huge cord with the audience? Great writing, good storytelling, good direction and equally good performances! What IPK3 is lacking is not in acting. It's more to do with the overall treatment and execution which has much to be desired! It's very shallow and jauvenile. A story needs depth to appeal to the greater audience and this story doesn't have any! I am sure a lot of people won't like me for saying this. But that is the truth of the matter! This show is 1 month old and it's time for the makers to buck up. The issue with ALL Gul shows is dragging. Hope they get the message and pull their socks up!

Yes, we all hope the show does better for the sake of the actors...we also know sometimes it is too much to ask for, when we hope for great writing- especially from makers who feel they know it all. 😉😆
