IPKKND3~ep 11~17.7.17 My Impressions.. The obstinate optimist..
Life is a voyage at times, tempestuous, over stormy waters. At other times it can be smooth sailing on a sea as calm as a sleeping babe. During the latter we have not much to complain as we allow the voyage to take its course. However when the voyage becomes bumpy and gruelling, that's when we need to pull up all the spirit within ourselves to help us to get through the uneven, irregular course. During the coarse patches of our lives, it's a boon to have the support of those, who can speak of hope into retrieving hopeless scenarios. In today's episode there are instances where hope springs eternal in some characters hearts. Chandni, is one such character who has her wits about herself. In the episode. We see that instead of of allowing her famly to follow the route of negativity and despair. She literally acts practically and logically feeds hope to her dear ones, despite the major setback her family suffers.
Chandi becomes the glimmer of hope, at the end of the sudden rain which washed away all hopes of getting to the temple treasures. Its not easy to some what challenge past signs of how the temple unlocked before. It may be tantamount to challenging faith it self. But then divine wisdom too relies on keeping the beacon of hope burning. She reminds all present that since the sign of the shadow is over shadowed by the untimely changes in the weather. Dashed hopes can be raised by the recital of holy mantras by her father the Mahant. Yash's chants of the specific scriptures should still work. She manages to infuse logical hope in all present. Advay too lurks about. It's like being at the right place at the right time. Easy access to his foe's forthcoming moves. Both Chandni and him dash towards Yash's room. She is swift to restore happiness on her washed out mothers face. He beats her to it to steal whatever joy the vashists hope for. Advay is about to serve her father a glass of milk. She reaches nick of time and Advay for the moment faces his hope of foul play foiled. Chandni , takes the glass from her father before he can drink it. She suspects something fishy. Not her fault, as he warned her enough times that he will strike! Well he had hoped that she would be a befitting opponent to play his game with. His abrasive, threatening manner has only made her stronger in her meetings with him. like now she questions him sharply why he is around her father. Advay knows how to win elders.. he replies he came to seek this elders blessings. Chandni falls for his guile. Before she changes her mind he bends ,under the guise of a blessing he attempts a prick on the Mahant's feet. This prick Advay chuckles inside, as of now ,is his fresh act. Chandni's whole family doesn't have a hope in hell in getting to the treasure. The temporarily pin prick symbolizes an act so miniscule and insignificant ,just a scratch, that it will go totally unnoticed, like his manner of operations. But he hopes without a doubt that the pin prick will have far reaching effects ,to suit his needs He caused weather modification, unfortunately that turned his hope against hope at stopping them. But then Chandni can always hope that wise man Advay will not be sitting twiddling his thumbs, his vendetta too. supplies him with fresh levels of optimism. As when the reason for his anticipation , is so sweet ,that he feels just like the obedient son , who seeks for the eventual peace of his murdered parents. It's quite a sight when he almost effortlessly, fires her hopes with anger ,when he impresses her father right before her very eyes! Such irony, when Yash tells Chandni ,Advay is a swell guy! that he spots truth in the man's eyes! Advay even manages to get this forgetful old foe's blessings. But Advay does not entirely rely on the Mahant's erractic memory . Who knows? the man just might recall the mantras and open the temple doors. So Advay covers himself .. and it so happens, that Yash gets all his families hopes raised by turning up at the place. But before he could recite the miraculous mantras. Yash legs turn to jelly and he falls in a heap on the ground.
When deferred hope makes the heart sick. Such is Indrani's reaction. All the faint hopes of getting their fortunes up and running once again crumble at the sight of both requisites now thwarted forever. The mantras too now seemed to be overshadowed by their impending doom. Advay watches how the family deals with distress.. was like so with him too, many moons ago, alone , nothing to pin his hopes on. He stares at Chandni , and blames her.. she brought this upon herself! He had told her unequivocally , come what may ,the temple door will not open! well she should know that her obstinacy stands not a chance before his obsession!
While there's life..and love there is hope! This is Chandni when she gathers her devastated mother Indrani who wails endlessly about the lost treasures. For sixteen years she waited for this hour.. when she could have laden her daughters with golden and precious stones! but now all is lost! As a mother she has fails her daughters! now not a snowball's chance, in hell! It takes an obedient daughter like Chandni to console her grieving mother. Impress upon her mother that the true ornament of children are their parents. For daughters a mother is more precious than gold and gems. Pity though, Indrani fails to grasp the true meaning of Chandni's words.. a mother's love is the greatest gift for her children. Indrani is into continuing the wealth , power and status that came with the treasure.. now she feels stripped of all! All three sisters attempt to pick their mother up, but it appears she will now look elsewhere to keep the Vashist image going. But soon after the storm subsides.. and as people do in trauma situations ,they look to blame others. Indrani too has dark reasons to blame someone. Chandni just takes her words as part of her shock. But Indrani's blame game syndrome makes Chandni think of one beared ,undesirable who openly threatens her..
Chandni hopes to find something in bearded bully boots house! So hyped up she is by the fact that their hidden enemy is him!! that she actually has the nerve to trespass and enter his dwellings.. Murli is out.. so Chandni decides to potter about and rummage his masters house! Talk about murli s master room! looks like a bomb site! Chandni a stickler for tidiness cringes! at the mess the bearded monster lives in! Well her reconnaissance is cut short as she hears footsteps. It was the owner of the room. She hides under his bed. Nothing is hidden from the eagle eyes of bully boots. His mirror tells tales of the fair visitor tucked under his bed.. the scene is a memory jogger for Chandni... Dev said something similar to what Advay says when he orders her to come out from under his bed... mind your head! Can't you look after yourself! Always getting yourself in a spot of trouble! She fondly recalls Dev's angry concern for her, years ago. But Advay for once hasn't the foggiest idea of what suddenly goes through their minds.. both are two souls oblivious of who they are really? and what they mean to each? Advay blames her of entering his house like a thief. She retorts he too came to her house, her fathers room like some shady character. He replies he came to seek his blessings. But fiery Chandni accuses him of trying to poison her dad! But he'd best not think that he can barge into her house expecting no one will actually stop him.
Listening to her in combat mode, amuses him and he hopes to hear more of her protests. He challenges her, who can stop him from coming to her house. When she boldly refutes him, she will ! he advances towards her boldly and suddenly her bravado begins to fizzle out and she recedes back. His hopes to get close to her , excites him all the more, specially so when he like always, senses how his imposing persona effects her mannerism . But Advay also knows when to make moves and when to swarm her with his terse comments. His arrogance makes him compare their progressing relationship to that of a needle and a sword! Chandni once again leaps back into dissension mode with him and reminds him she may be like a small needle! But she is big enough to be a niggling ,painful presence that causes him quiet grief ! irriating him beyond what he ever hoped for! its like she confronts a bully ,telling him with somewhat slightly fearful bravado. He does not scare her!Mr. so and so! His patience gives away! she has no hope in hell! He advances towards her , holds her close, hurts her by giving her dainty arm and twist. It's much to much for her.. rabba ve.. and she chooses to close her eyes rather than be drowned by his passion ridden intense eyes. One lean of his face over her face.. and his husky voice tells her exactly who he is .. Advay Singh Raizada.. she meets his gaze ,fights back.. what ever! He scares her not.. and pulls her hand free ..one look in the mirror ..a noodle graces her hair! Put off she rests her arm on his table only to feel a squidgy tea bag! what a dump! Chivalry is not dead with the gallant Advay.. tenderly he removes the stray noodle in her hair! proves a point the milk is not poisoned by drinking it before her! She gets her answer gingerly and Chandni leaves while he thinks much amused.. she can hope for the best.. but this she'll never get to know its the target's psychology he aims for.. not so much its reaction ! she saw him bend to receive her fathers blessing.. that's all he needed and the rest just fell into place! Just as he willed! He is on to a winner! For its mind games he plays! and so far his stratagems too he hopes are going well! hamlet5318.7.17
Interesting episode.. a further insight into the manner in which Chandni and Advay deal with problem solving. Currenly, Chandni employs the strategy of to make! advay on the other hand is currently in the business of to break! Chandni is due to face as shock! Living in the face of the beast who is the new owner of their home! Can Chandni hope for best? For her family? Rabba ve things must be pretty bad.. Raaba ve!
