IPKKND3~ep 10~14.7.17 My Impressions..old sins cast long shadows

It's said one's dark deeds executed in the past somehow have a habit of popping up with far reaching consequences well into one's future. Faith, morality, philosophy are in place for those who chose them as a means to moral guidance. But there are those of us too ,for whom avarice fares as a weakness which transcends all the codes of humanity ,ethics and morality. Within the current storyline which embodies the age old theme of a battle between virtue and vice. We have the Vashist's who symbolize greed for power ,wealth and position on one side , and Advay Singh Raizada as the bastion of righteousness on the other side. Both camps are triggered on by their own tailor made mindsets. Vashist's live by their foul proof attitude of being fearless of the wrath of the higher order divine powers, hence they sin blatantly. Advay on the other hand is far removed from showing mercy to sinners and is on the warpath to hand out due deserved punishment to his foes the Vashist's. Today's episode stands out more so, by the use imagery and representation.

Chandni's recent words serve to unblock Advay's mind. The anklet of a widow at the ceremony kicks starts his memory. She was the woman who placed the voodoo doll in his house. He has to seek her to find out who set her up? But then the ill fated Asha is spotted and confirmed as the blackmailer by the wicked sisters who they were looking for.

Asha's anklets forever chain her to her doom! Asha was meant to carry their deep , dark secret , she couldn't ! now she carries their secret to her grave! Indrani's snake.. strikes at the widow! Indeed Asha was the snake in the grass black mailer. The snake that Indrani tried keeping close to her bosom. But Indrani thus snakes around.. and another murder takes place! A blood stained trail, and the illfated anklet tells Advay once again, the blackmailer he too sought, got away from his hands like the evil Vashist's themselves. Indrani hurls the empty cage, there ! all done and dusted their blackmailer. See How the wicked prosper, and leap to commit more wrong! Unflinchingly.

It goes without saying that the snake in the scene is used as a symbol related to Lord Shiva.. who is known as the Lord of all creatures. The idol of Lord Shiva shows him wearing the snake with three rounds , symbolic of time.. past, present , and future, which makes Lord Shiva independent of time and its controls. The image of Lord Shiva wearing a snake necklace , also symbolizes that he controls both fear and death! Where now one black mailer may have slipped through Advay's fingers, ! Advay has to be sensitive to the fact.. that as mortals it's we , who live a time constrained life.. it's best to leave both his success and failures in the lords hands, as he decides the time about how and when? It is also interesting to note that Chandni is a devout devotee of Lord Shiva and thus shows little fear of death when it comes to fighting for righteousness. Advay too appears fearless, but his prowess comes from his need for vendetta..

Apart from this, Indrani can also be seen symbolic of a snake, a dangerous reptile that is feared by many in the community where she lives.. she rules others by preying on their ignorance and vulnerability..

Murli's reference to being blocked on social network by some girl.. gives Advay the idea of using technology to provide a stumbling block for the vashist's from gaining access to the temple treasures today after sixteen years to date. He will move heaven and earth to bar his foes from getting their hands on the treasures. He hopes today he will be avenged by punishing his foes after sixteen years for murdering his family. On the other hand the Vashist's too await for the doors of the temple to open!so they can get their hands on wealth. Chandni is once again purified for the ceremony.

The shadow phenomena. A faith or natural phenomena of nature. A fact, an occurrence? But something extraordinary and remarkablefor the spectators. Once after sixteen year, the sun on Shiva's idol will cast a shadow on a strategic place onthe temple door. Yash Vashist s recital of mantra will unlock the temple doors! It's all incredible to Chandni's sisters, but she refers to modern technology how a person's password on the mobile unlocks the locked phone! She ties the power of shadow phenomena to natures many secrets, linked to age old traditional mantras, which can be traced and tied to scientific knowledge. All this to unlock.. a door

The sheer curtain scene, unlocks another meeting between Advay and Chandni.. her bracelet gets caught up in the chain of his watch.. even the accessories they wear, want them to be latched together! The white, curtain flies on her face, he watches, to him she is far from pristine white, as dark as the night she is. She protests she is not the dark night she is Chandni ,yet again he picks on her money minded motives. Snubs her, the likes of her are not fit to grace the steps of the mandir and here she thinks a sinner like her can go in. She reminds him a devotees devotion and intent is taken into account by the Lord.. not his status or position. The truth is whatever her so called intent is ! but it's all about money He rudely snubs her, her weighty words cannot alter the truth! and the truth is that he will move heaven and earth but will not allow her family to have access to the temple treasures today! consider it as his challenge ,he begins to move, pushes the white flowing ground length curtains out of his face ,turns to look at her over his shoulder and leaves in a huff. Chandini is pleased she heard his stance.. she was not fearful of her own shadow! jumpy and nervous

Where a real murder, is toned down by Veer's, professional pranksters macabre shooting of the witch act. Which he plays with Shikha who beats the living daylights out of Veer.s friend dressed as a witch! The scene shows that appearances can be deceptive. Shika an assumed fearful girlie turns out to be Salman khans' progeny! Similarly the three witches Indrani ,Shaku, kajal, swan around as Vashist ladies..

When approaching events cast their shadows before , preceded by signs. Vashist's gather at the temple but suddenly the sun is eclipsed! bad omen.. Indrani goes out to see, the change of her fortune! Runs in desperation to mandir! begs lord Shiva to end her trial of sixteen years. The rain washes out her dreams of getting her hands on the wealth! She plays the crying ,protective, mothering card ! hoping to win the creator's sympathy.. she cries, pleads ,whatever she did, it was for her children! Wailing to lord Shiva the creator of all creatures, she compares herself to the meek deer who takes risks to protect its young! But the heaven's opened and poured! ,for the creator of creatures knows..this mother is like the black widow spider who would eat its young to survive.. lord Shiva was oblivious to this mother's pleas...

When rain washes away all Vashist hope. and the land darkens, the beam of moonlight , a reflection of the sun appears.. Chandni finds her drenched and washed out mother Indrani ,comforts ,consoles her with a promise ,be rest assured her Bhole Nath will unlock the temple doors.. her faith speaks..

He did, what he said, he would. Advay Singh Raizada.. played with the universe, used the know how of cloud seeding, a form of weather modification. Known to be prompted and put into practice in many countries in the world including India, to combat severe drought. Precipitation is started by dispersing airborne substances into the air. Seems Lord Shiva blessed him with divine wisdom, as what he did was for a good cause, to prevent evil from multiplying. It's a pity though, Advay thinks, miss moonlight will have to eat humble pie and this time accept her defeat humbly...but today ,Advay made the sun bow down before him! hamlet53 15.7.17

Interesting episode with phenomena and incredible things and symbols. Main thing was his confidence that he would move heaven and earth .. but his foes will not set foot in the temple! which would change their fortune, replace their bad days with good days. Chandni now has the task of ensuring the doors of the temple open..it's also a matter of getting one up on rabba ve.. erhh? What ever is she doing under his bed?? rabba ve..

have a great weekend folks love hammie

Asha was really very foolish
She miscalculated the women completely
So she had to die at the end
I so wish Indrani Shakun Kajal to be trapped in a cage again
I am all Team Advay now as the other team has sinners
The 3 women are so over confident in their small win
You explained all the symbolisms here so well
I wonder if Chandni knows Indrani's niyat at all
Loved the aukat niyat haisiyat talk though
Advay challenges her that the doors will not open
Miku Shikha scene was hilarious and entertaining
Advay can teach her Maths so well
I felt sadistic pleasure at Indrani bowing down to Shiva
She used to think she can over power all
She used to think she is omnipotent
Shiv Ji brought her down to earth so easily
I don't think murderer should get any redemption
I loved Advay bringing rain and storm there
Wonderful review

Beautiful beautiful beautiful!

Your analysis are making me love the show more...

I liked yesterday episode...I was fine with mantra opening the door or advay doing cloud seeding...because both are possible

But I did laugh out at snake being used to kill Asha. ..it was just funny scene for me...now after reading your analysis with symbolism of snake...I am having second thoughts on the scene...all credits goes to you hammie...

Thanks you so much for writing analysis everyday... Lots of love and hugs to u

Great analysis, Hammie! You are becoming an expert in Hindu religious symbolism. Loved the title and all the nuances that you put forward. Since I am traveling and cannot watch the episodes I am happily relying on your takes. I hope that the time will soon arrive when I can participate more fully. Meanwhile, be well and have a great weekend.

Those people don't know what is story or plot...
Just haters in name of critics... If they are critics they would read all these posts and comments... I can see few people on forum waiting only for negative posts and commenting... Till then they will be silent members... Lol
Forget them...our show is doing good...enjoy it
Hammie and Jesal are two people who actually know the meaning of story!

Again a wonderful analysis Hammie!
Loved the symbolism you brought out from the snake and snake bite.
See How the wicked prosper, and leap to commit more wrong! Unflinchingly.
True. And it was so satisfying to see Indrani bow down before Shivji and beg. This is just the beginning. She'll have to beg the one she has wronged too.

"Seems Lord Shiva blessed him with divine wisdom, as what he did was for a good cause, to prevent evil from multiplying."

Yup!
Love your analysis Hammie. They make my day!
