i just dont get it.

HI! Rosh .. 😃 class of 2006 here at IF university.

Been around. 😆 Ive watched ipk first one but i was super late to the bandwagon and Ive watched barun since his baat paaki days. SANCHI AND SHRAVAN for life. 😳

anyway.. I know theres a lot of controversy surrounding this new ipk version.. which frankly i dont care for.. im not much of a sanaya fan.. and i like the first season a lot for the story as crazy as that is to believe for a GK show.. IPK first season was basic but well done.. idk.. more apart from the chemistry i felt the ensemble, writing, and plot lines were well done for the most part and i enjoyed THAT aspect. since then GK shows have really faltered.. (*cough.. they butchered my QH 🥱*)

ANYYYWAY. i thought id check this out.. again cause of baruns return( i never saw the second version cause i heard that was a Star plus rendition and frankly i already had a few shows under my belt)..

while I want to get into it.. i just DONT get the story. 😕 i feel like they are really over doing the revenge thing.. i mean i get it advay is mad at this chandni chick but flaring nostrils in every scene.

the plot is very choppy right now.. even for episode two.. i feel we should get a general understanding but at the moment im just very confused. the flashblacks should be ADDING to the story not just thrown in there for FB purposes...

the grand scheme is nice.. but the costumes (they really have to fire this shivani girl.. sorry but if shes the same girl doing Ishqbaaz and DBO costumes.. girl GOTSTA GO).

and. this new girl.. i dont mind her but she hasnt stood out yet.. but then again i fel the same way about SJ in the beginning of Qh and then i grew to love her.. so maybe ill change my mind.. but you can tell or at least she comes across NEW and that takes me a while at least to warm up to..

overall im very indifferent to this show. I swore to my self i would never watch another GK show after QH drama but IB and DBO are decent .. so i figured i already jumped ship might as well just check out and thus far it isnt as good as i was hoping it .would be. I mean at least for most GK shows the beginning 6 months are AMAZEBALLS .. i wonder if here itll be that the beginning sucks and then later on it gets better? 😆 kinda like a fine wine.
