Advay Singh Raizada

Today's episode was significant in that it unraveled something about Advay Singh Raizada

Something to do with music - though he had ditched the guitar today

A math / science prof - something of a genius - who uses his fundas at lightening speed

He blames Chandni for his parents death - something about his mother being branded a witch and then killed for that

He still hasn't immersed his parents ashes and laid their souls to rest - as seen from the asthi Kalash we presumably saw yesterday

He is here with a mission to avenge - and his prime target is Chandni

He is the son of ex mahant of the mandir, and presumably feels a heightened sense of resentment as he draws parallel with that time 16 years ago when it was his call to do the maha aarti

Oh and of course he is a super man - who can fight off big goondas while balancing a huge gigantic statue -

It was a hyperbole all the way - in creating the character of superhero Advay, the CVs seems to have gone really overboard

Somethings were well done - Chandni steps out just as Advay resurrects the statue, the parallel was significant

The Kinnars confrontation was good to watch - the parallel with Ardhanareeswarar and the breaking of narrow boxed thinking of what constitutes masculinity femininity were well done

Of course we met the baddie of the show - the mean nasty unkempt villain ...

Good to watch, stilll blingy and OTT in its looks and sets - I miss the quiet sophistication of ipk 1 - but yeah - I liked episode 2 more than 1, so I'm again giving it 6/10

The symbolisms today were important
The kinnar told that man that Shiv Ji is angry on the family
He has already come to avenge them
And we are shown Advay
The part where Chandni prays to Shivji
Again Advay is shown there
The scenes of Advay doing shuddhikaran and Chandni doing it
The parallels were contrasting

yeah..i also felt like that .2nd episode is better than the episode.

i think dev is diff person..bt advay is dev,then what about his name..

is he changed the name for his revenge..

Lovely take as always.

Too much shades removal and walking for Barun today but his faceoff with Indrani was fab!

Looking forward to their clashes soon.

Guess now we need to get accustomed with watching loud-OTT drama.

If we ignore that part, then have to admit gotta know many things today. A good filler episode it was.

Though the way everything is running fast fast, feels like makers will reveal all the layers of the story-characters within a week or two.

Wish story and scenes were organised better. But jo bhi mille achha hai, at least Barun Sobti on screen toh mille.

Yes it did strike me the parallel between Shivji and who is an ascetic, and Advay as both who are loners - not really a part of the world, disengaged and who have the power to destroy and the strength to protect.

So just as Chandni protected her family from the curse of the kinnars, will she again be the one to protect them from Advay?

I think advay is Dev from all indications, she's always called him Dev as her special name

I agree, too much shades removal, but the scenes he got were powerful and his dialogues were great!

Sahi baat Nishu, so far there's nothing more than Barun to hold us to the show! But it usually takes about a week to 10 days to really get the track laid out, dekhte hain!

Yes Chandni will protect her family from his wrath
She will also calm him down heal him and give him peace later
