Some Scenes Reminded me of Devdas

I am pretty sure i am not the only one. I don't know why but the first episode has so many elements of Devdas. For Example Chandni remembring some person with the name Dev. Me thinks that Dev is actually Advay ( Who might have changed his name to come in Chandni's life to take his Revenge). From the Flashback scenes all i can assume is Chandni's family and Advay Parents had some sort of feud and Chandni's Family or Chandni herself is somehow responsible for his parents death😲

Maybe Chandni and Dev loved each other since childhood and Chandni's parents found out about it and as a result Some big fight happened and his parents died. And because of this Advay considers Chandni as the main culprit and wants to take revenge?


This is purely my Assumption and nothing else.😆

Yes me too felt like the sets and the grandeur are resembling Devdas - Paro of SLB. I too think this is a childhood love story gone bad. Now need to see how Advay will make Chandni fall for him when Chandu seems to be totally in love with her Dev. Looks like this is going to be a slow burn love story.

Yes i feel the same Devdas vibe but I hope in coming episodes they do better than today episode and about chandini connection with Advay parents death I think tht was connected with the maha pooja which take place every 16 years past today sasuma said that when pooja not happened thn the whole family die at one place and maybe tht time when Advay parents died Chandu is d one reason tht they could not perform pooja and hence they killed tht day

She was remembering Dev with the stone instead of the diya shown in the film
Some misunderstanding has happened and his parents were killed so he hates her now
