something old and something new, something borrowed and something blue...
What remained the same : the same angst ridden Raizada, the rabba ve, the emotional music when he saves the dog, the same "welcome to hell" dialogue, the little boy orphan who lost his parents unexpectedly, the seething simmering anger
And of course the Barun magic ... setting the screen on fire
Something new - Chandni - I must say she's not bad, whether she will rise up to Raizada and be a match for him - let's wait and see, while she did the emotional parts well, the scene with the 7up bottle - was a misfire and a misfit
Something borrowed - Wahi hackneyed characters - the vamp, and her asinine side kick, the rani sahiba etc - let's hope the characters are fleshed out well and are not mere caricatures...
Something blue - the whole episode was loud, over grandiose, garish - not the genteel grace of IPK 1 - this was cardboard and kitsch - let's hope Gul knows where she's going with this and once the pieces fall in place, we will see a more refined show, that is worthy of its predecessor !
Today's episode - apart from Barun setting the screen on fire, there's not much that rises above the average, so let me give it a 6/10.
