I hear you sis, I too wanted the same. I would rather watch a show for its own merit or demerit without being compared to the previous version or previous actors all the time. But it is simply not possible here. Every scene or expression HAS to be compared, it is like a new rule for episode discussion. While watching the leap I even forget it is NM playing Shivaansh, I only watch him as Shivaansh the character & what he does, same goes for the FL, I don't know who she is or where she comes from, she is just ACP for me. Will be called Dhinku/NM/ACP fan for this. So if you want episode discussions focused only on the episode then you have to start watching any other show or just be a mute spectator. Every show in ITV is a copy - paste or rinse - repeat of another story only, nothing is fresh in ITV but the word freshness is over used only in this forum.
