This one is a book kinda thing where you will get all my One shorts in the same thread. Never thought would write something on Redux thing but still it was just a thought that came into mind. Let's see where it goes.

Story one

The Cell talk

After all the fiasco of Annika getting kidnapped and brutally forced by the big man Shivaay Singh Oberoi to become his wife, her little sister Gauri Trivedi knew that something or the else was wrong. Something was there that his sister was keeping with herself, something that she should know but she doesn't. Knowing how after the death of her mom and dad her di took care of her very efficiently she was worried about her well being. Even if she says a thousand times about she was good and fine and even happy but inside Gauri knew that there was something that her sister was hiding. Even when she went to hand her over her belongings; her sister looked sad and worried.

And now after Annika was gone, everything had to be handled by her pwn self. Saahil was small and Chachi was of no help anyway. She sighed and started cooking the nights food trying hard to do the much as she knew. She saw Saahil studying in the corner and smiled on how she was able to keep the child still well. Chachi, though was still sulking but who cared. That woman was never of any use so she decided to ignore her.

Omkara, on the other hand, was sitting inside his room where all the thoughts came rushing to his mind. Thoughts about all that happened; thoughts about Shivaay, thoughts about Annika bhabhi, thoughts about the wrong that had happened, thoughts about how to make every thing good and suddenly a thought of her "Gauri" a realization hits him. He just forgot to tell her that everything was fine and she has not to worry. Though he thought about this yesterday too but then he decided not to because the situations were still not under control, but right now he can inform her that he is fulfilling his duty to keep her di fine.

Fetching his cell from his pocket he searched for her number which he himself told her to save. He pressed the call button and keeping the cell near her ear waiting fdor her to pick the call up. He found himself tapping his foot on the ground. He chucked at his action.
Aguri was making some vegetable with some pooris which she thought would be good and quick. she was still cooking when her cell phone rang. She decided to ignore and keep cooking but this damn phone was not ready to stop. She still kept steering the vegetable but no this phone was not ready to stop. Sighing she twisted the gas knob and started towards her cell phone. "Hello, kya hai bhai. Ini kya aafat machi hai? (Hello what is the matter?why are you so desperate)"

So finally she picked up, Omkara sighed. After about a five or six calls she did picked. "Umm.. I.. I.." he started. "Man look first I don't know who you are and second I am too tensed and busy at the same time to talk to you" she semi shouted, not loud enough for the whole house to know. Then it hit Omkara. It was only him who has her number whereas she doesn't even know about this. He smirked knowing what to do. "Hii This is Shanker" he said.

Gauri groaned; what is this man; he called six times to tell her his name? "So main kya karoon? (So what should I do?)" she asked. "Woah girl you sound frustrated. Anything wrong?" he bits the inside of his cheek to suppress the laugh. "Even if it is, why should I tell you?" came her frustrated voice again. "Okay okay cool down cool down. Pareshhaniyaan baantne se kam hoti hain, so you should tell what has happened?" he asked once more. "But you are a stranger" she sighed. "It is good to talk to strangers. They wont tell anyone plus they can advise you as per their knowledge about the things. I think you should try. Come on tell me" he answered.
Should she tell him? Should she even talk to him? But how does it even matter right? as in he is a stranger and he doesn't even knows her name and neither did she knows his. Wouldn't it be good to tell him maybe he was right, maybe she would feel better "Hello Ms. are you there?" she heard his voice from the other end. "Yes I am... ummm.. actually I was thinking... " she paused. "O how to tell me your problems right? I mean still I am a stranger. It's okay if you don't want to" he sighed. And just when he was about to remove the cell from his ears "hey listen" he heard her. "I think it's no harm in telling you. I mean we don't know each other and you cant cause any harm to me unless you aren't tabbing my call" he chuckled to this. "Obviously I ma not. I am not a police officer or a gangster either" he said.

"No I wasn't saying that" he heard her chuckle. "Okay then you can tell me" he sounded concerned. "My di... as in my elder sister; she was all to me because we are orphans. My parents died long ago is all what I know about them. From childhood she has taken care of me replacing both my maa and papa. But right now she is married" she paused. "Okay then" well; he knew all this. "She is married to a rich businessman Shivaay Singh Oberoi and not normally. That bas**** picked up my sister brutally from her own wedding and married her. I have full doubt that she has not married him by her own. She has definitely had a strong reason to marry him and that is not love" she paused again.

"But you never know that right? love can happen to anyone and anyhow. It doesn't needs a particular time. Love is natural" he said. "But love is also that joins two hearts right? Forcing someone is not love and you cannot define it by any other beautiful emotion either. The way he carried her with him; I am sure that was anything but love" he knew this and he was really guilty of the fact that his own elder brother did something as stupid as this. "But still I think let the relationship get time I think it will proceed to a good one" he answered and heard her sigh. "I don't know, I am really worried about di. She still must be struggling in that house with almost no one to help. I have no idea about how to help her. I really want to get her out of every problem she has" her voice broke at the end.

"Heyy.. don't worry, I know your di is a strong girl and she can cope up with it. I feel it" he answered. "How? You don't even know her?" she asked a valid question. "Umm.. well as you defined her she must have been strong enough" he sighed after completing his almost valid answer. "Oh!!" was all she said.

There was a silence after that when she started again "but still that man is a monster. You don't know him. He is someone who doesn't has a heart" she said gritting her teeth. "I know what he has done is wrong but judging someone only on the basis of one act isn't appropriate. I know the act was monstrous but still try to understand him. May be he has done something out of rage or misunderstanding" well that was what her di said right? A Misunderstanding.

"I dont know what to do? Di is there struggling in her own life and I cannot even tell her about anything that is happening here" he frowned. Happening here means what? What was happening with he.. them. "Hapening there? What happened to you... all" he answered. And instantly closed his eyes in regret., "What do you mean by you all? I never mentioned about anyone else except me and my di" so she is intelligent 'and you are a fool' he mentally slapped himself. "No, all I mean was that everyone has a family. I thought you two also must be having one" he said. "Yes we do. A little brother and a vampire chachi" she said gritting her teeth at 'vampire chachi'. Indeed her chachi was nothing less than a blood sucking vampire but still that was funny. He chuckled. "Don't laugh. She actually is a vampire". "How do you know I was laughing on that?" he asked out of curiosity. "Does my little brother Saahil seems something to laugh upon" she answered as his mouth formed an 'O'

"And now I have no idea about how to handle all thia and this society. You know what? If a boy does anything the blame would never goes to him. It always is to the girl and her family. And since thank God Annika di is safe but the situations here have worsened. Every one is here to blame my di and I swrear I want to rip each and every soul out. These people don't even know what to say and when to. But sometimes it goes out of hands. And chcachi is absolutely of no help" she blurted it all out. "I know it must be difficult but have you hered a phrase 'kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna'. They will speak because they have nothing else better than to poke their nose in others. All you have to do is keep a deaf ear and forget about all this. Focus on your family because it is all what you have" he said.
Althogh she was still in a mess, this stranger's words did something good for her heart.. Something that provided peace to her already rushing mind.

She moved to her kitchen with her cell still on her ears. "You know you talk really well. I think giving a deaf ear is the best option" she said smiling as she added water in the masala paste and it sizzled. "hey careful" he shouted over the phone. "I know, I know. Though its something Di does always but I guess I ahve to learn now since I cant cook that efficiently" he smiled at that. "Well learning is something you can do anytime. And when it is cooking, I personlly love it" she smiled. "Achchaji, you know how to cook?" she asked. "Well, me and my brothers love to cook. It's a sorta family time for us" she chuckled again.

"Seems like you have a good family" she said. "Well yes, I do and I am lucky to have them" he smiled. "Yeah lucky you" he felt her voice drop. "Don't worry everything eill br fine. You know what? My mom says, everything is planned, you just have to wait to let the time come. You will also get a loving family and a loving partner you know. All you have to do is just smile and face everything" he answered.

"Thank you for this Omkara" his eyes widened over the call. "I am Sh..." she cuts him " Oh come on Mr Oberoi, you think you will continue this and I won't know anything?" she teased. "But... but how?" was what he asked. "You know about my family. The way you were so confident about talking about di. The things you told and especially your voice. You know you have a husky one right?" she laughed. "I guess I am caught then" he smiled.

"How is di, Omkara" she asked with concern. "Your di is perfectly fine. And don't worry when Omkara promises something, he fulfills it" she smiled at that. "I believe you. Take care of Di Omkara" she paused "and yourself too" she said in a sweet voice making him smile wider. "You too take care of yourself and remember my house is always opened for you... and your family. And I am just a call away" he said. "Yeah, and now you cannot even fool me" she laughed. "Haan" he answered.

"Good night Omkara" she replied. "Good noght Gauri" he smiled and the cell beeped.

'I know you will take care Omkara. I believe you' she said lloking at the sky.

'I will Gauri. I will handle everything' he talked to the stars.
