I loved the opening scene today. The angst was so nicely done I thought and NM did a brilliant job. The kanji aankhein were so expressive. You have described all the mixed conflicted emotions in them so well right from the hurt, the reproach, the confusion so well that I can't say it as well and the caps showcase all those expressions beautifully. Kal se mujhe kanji aankhon se kuch zyada hi pyaar ho gaya hai because they are really telling us about all those tumultuous emotions that Billu is feeling but is not able to either understand or articulate. But sach kuch kanji aankhein sab bol deti hain. I liked that finally they showed him thinking about the roka, the first time he saw her, the hug and the news of her shaadi and all those confused emotions he felt each time. It was long overdue for him to not think about something that impacted him so much. Today the o jaana also didn't jar so much as it did the last few times. The lyrics fit theirbsituation very well but it's the overkill that gets annoying.

In the rest of the episode although he was so restless and dukhi about the news of Anika's engagement he was the cute wale Billuji. He was so pareshan. Billu ko zara bhi chain nahi tha 😆. The farak was so much 😆. But Billu manega thode hi warna height kam ho jaayegi. 😆. Billu in his dukh ke ab Anika bhi chali jaayegi forgot that he had gone to her place in full tashan with the express purpose of throwing her out asap.
Of course now Billu is resorting to childish games to make sure that Anika doesn't get engaged to Nikhil happily not caring that he himself is getting engaged to Tia.😆. I was reminded of original Billu saying Anika ka koi lover nahin hain😆. She doesn't need one 😆 while himself planning to marry Tia.

I would like to talk about that scene that I absolutely loved. The scene where he asks her to follow him out as she sat with Priyanka. And as though it's a normal routine, she agrees with a nod. It's beautiful that in spite of Shivay's focus on Priyanka and her wedding, and Anika's protective streak for her, Shivika have managed to have something for themselves between themselves. And it's a whole private conversation between them that no one is privy to. She doesn't tell her sister Shivay broke her Phone, he doesn't inform Priyanka how he hurt his hand or the family about her replacing rings.

In spite of everything, he lets her put the lep.

Aaj ka silent conversation brings forth the visual of a deep sense of understanding cultivated in long-time partners, true soulmates.

Nikhil ko laddoo khilane ke liye this look like a revenge. Ki wait out and watch ...make 100kgs of laddoo.

@bold: Such a nice point...I think this is coming from the shifts in personality this time...This Anika doesn't push back at Shivaay for the sake of it...she's more agreeable in general with most ppl, including Shivaay...so anyone who requests her for something, she'll mostly give in to.

But yes, the point remains that Shivaay always tries to pull her aside for a convo aaj kal...whether it was in the opening scene where he asked her to come aside to talk or it was in the second half where again he asked her to stay back for some help and gestured her for to come to the side rather than talking in front of Chachi-Gauri...lol...whatever the reason, it's good that that they are being allowed these moments to themselves...it significantly improves the quality of the show...

As you said in the last line, they are deffo trying to show the deep bond and understanding that exists b/w two partners as it's been cultivated over time...here it's adding a depth to this Redux Shivika even though in the timeline of the show, they've only met a month back. So they are able to bring that shade to Shivika's relationship in an intense way.

The opening scene was so nicely executed today with a Shivaay walking out of the house in a daze, for the first time reflecting on the first moment he saw this Anika during the roka...how thankful am I to be spared the lame hospital scene FB for once😆...this time the dupatta scene gets a chance in the FBs...lol as a Shivaay remembers that moment when he first laid eyes on her, then the first time he hugged her just a few hours back...clearly both of these moments left a strong impact on him along with the sight of her with Nikhil... i was so pleasantly surprised that they used the duppatta scene i seriously did not expect that but it added so much feel to what shivaay was going through. They finally got the FB right him actually kinda going through all the moments he shared with ehr so far so shaken, so confused so broken not tryign to put a finger on it what is bothering him exactly her engagement her going away soon leaving them or what he feels for her. he totally forgot why he came there in the first place matlab DP ki engagement sabotage wasn't even slightly a concern anymore the moment he saw thevisual he saw. Hil gaya ek dum . NM was fantastic in this entire bit with his nuances his emptiness , hollowness taking a frontseat all over again the moment he walked out he was like the shivaay from kyon main jagoon whatever little life that started coming back in him was sucked back again and he was pushed back in darkness yet again.

What also amused me was that the laddoo was still in his hand throughout the scene😆😆...he walked out with it but never seemed to realize it's still in his hand...and for that matter, even when Anika followed him out, she was holding the same laddoo in her hand that she never fed Nikhil...lol and she kept holding it in her hand the entire time she was talking to Shivaay as well...LOL

Ladoos are the true star of the day they have been an integral part of this episode poori episode hi laddooo ke gird ghoomi😆 i liked hwo the ladoos kinda represented teh trance they both were in the effect they cause on each other ke yeh bhi bhool jaate hain haath main kya pakada hai. at one point i did expect him to crush that ladoo in anger seeing NN put his hand around ehr in anger but he didn't really mature from Mr Oberoi 😆

I loved the back and forth in this scene...the Shivaay who asked her to come outside so he could talk to her, when she came outside and asked him what he wanted to talk about, abruptly says, "nothing, you can go back"😆...he tries to leave but this time Anika stops him by bringing up her fav. issue again...when she first says, "Yeh shaadi tod deejiye"...it could just as easily be her indicating hers with Nikhil...almost as if she's indirectly asking him to break that one off too...lol but ofcourse she presses on about the DP shaadi...and Shivaay again cuts her off saying he doesn't want to talk about that...when she cautions him that he may regret this later...he again flips it around on her and asks her if SHE will regret anything...she pauses in confusion..."Main samjhi nahin"...and he responds, "Samajh toh mujhe bhi nahin aa raha"...He is obviously talking about how he can't understand why she's marrying Nikhil, why it's bothering him so much...but Anika isn't getting his roundabout comments...lol that was exactly what i felt and i am quiete sure she actually meant it too 😆 it came from her RU wala mind i'd like to believe and she herself doesn't know that but it really actually felt like that again very VAT track vibe where she waited for him to actually call off her wedding . beautifully timed and deep moment. the samjh nahi aa raha was so pyara wala confuse billu he is so lost he needs help from her to make him understand why he is feeling what he is. this time sadly billu has no help from daadi or his brothers to clear his confusions to put perspective and same with anika so they are really on their own in this journey i do like it but then at such fragile moments i strongly wish ke koi toh inko hug karke samjhaye they need it. like billu was so freaking fragile in this scene in these moments in his looks to her in his head nod he barely had any life left inside him. it was quite hard for him to keep himself together & OMG i just realized in these caps that he is wearing jamuni shirt 😲 OMG anika ka fav color Hahah ok this is unrelated to this universe but rofl i am noticing weird things like that aaj liek she was wearing her old starting episodes walle earrings aaj in ladoo scene and all these things just hit home and make me so emotional that is how attached i am to everything shivika. for others it might just be an accessory, a clothing item for me it is far more than that

The "mera naam Shivaay hai...naam se toh bula sakti ho" moment was so lovely...I was quite curious to hear Anika's response to that if only Nikhil hadn't interrupted...but fikar not, Shivaay...you won't have to wait long...Anika slips up half the time anyways and calls you Shivaay when she's by herself...lol she'll soon enough say it to you also😆 ahh it hit me right in the feels 🥺 the way he said it was just so heartbreaking i felt the pangs and yeah anika toh bulayegi hi but the look in his eyes that sorta request in this first cap down below that this is the least you can do for me the elast to help me in this to save me to help me go on *sigh* AMAZING AMAZING AMAZIN work by NM . i dk if it is just me but billu ek dum aur bhi thakka hua laga from here on in his body language on his face you could see that i am done with everything feel he suddenly looked like he aged a 10 years . i mean just contrast these 2 caps. i am not sure if it was delibrate but i'd to believe his makeup was done slightly differently in between the walk and then for this particular part

His reactions once Nikhil showed up were even more interesting...lol...the way Shivaay and Anika were intensely watching each other the whole time, Nikhil might as well not even be there😆 Nikhil who? 😆😉 i guess he felt that in the air too isi liye cut lia jaldi se woh wahan se but they were still fixated on each other she wasn't pleased with the dulha takignher away their was a slight lazyness a hara hua feel in her walk too as if she really needs his help in freeign her too . phas gayi hai jaise in this

His reaction when Nikhil asked his permission to take "his future wife" inside...hahaha the way Shivaay tilted his head to the side before giving a reluctant jerk of his head...NM did that so well😆...how much it pained Shivaay to even allow that...aww Billu😆 I know i know that tilt was piercing 😕 he really does need a hug. i can;t stand him in this heartbroken mode

Then his reaction when Nikhil puts his arm around Anika OOH did you see the strange shine that came in his eyes at this moment . ghusse ki chamaak 😆😉 he was alerted all oveer and was liek how dare ya . kacha chaba jaaonga

The whole magic of this scene is in the way Shivaay's eyes especially were communicating so much about his hurt, his confusion, his heartbreak, his yearning for Anika...NM deserves a big round of applause for this today👏...and some superb direction from LM...he's really drawing out the emotions beautifully this week...great tempo, and I hope nothing jinxes it *touchwood*😆 +1 i rewatched it 3 times and everytime it is just so beautiful

Shivaay's intriguing reactions continued the next morning also once Anika broke the news to Prinku...what I really found amusing about this scene was how obviously Anika feels unsettled with Shivaay's gaze on her...she was smiling with Prinku until he showed up...after that the HYPER awareness in both Shivaay and Anika was so obvious...lol his reaction to learning that her engagement is today only...no response to Prinku asking him to congratulate Anika😆...meanwhile Anika constantly turning back to look at him again and again...the way Shivaay suddenly blurted out Nikhil's name when Prinku asked Anika what his name was🤣...each and everything was unsettling Anika so much...LOL...then the way he repeated "Ittefaq" so meaningfully with a nod when Prinku pointed out the coincidence of him getting engaged to Tia same time Anika is getting engaged to Nikhil😆 i laughed at prinku telling him aapko pata hai and i went usko nahi pata toh kisko pata hai dukhti rag pe haath rakh dia behna tumne and the moment she brings that up you feel the strain in not only him taking a pause even anika got alerted and sorta uncomfortable . she got so aware and did try to dissolve this topic by giving looks but prinku ko sab janana tah and bhaiya was too eager to inform her about the details. i seriously can't with his eyes doing the talking and giving her dosh again and again as if she committed a crime by getting engaged . it gets even funnier caz they literally don't knoweach other much but he expects her to sit for him subconsciously considers hers his due to their past it is so endearing in a way

Anika ka EPIC laddoo making OPERATION in the kitchen🤣...Shivaay watching all impressed from the side...lol khud hi kaam pe lagaya aur phir impress bhi ho gaya ki Anika ne banaa liye😆 so freaking hilarious but at the same time triggering too seeing that big karahi of oil and her throwing sugar in it like that with literally no safety and too many chances of it spilling over. here i have to mention that how much a difference can execution make this also showedher hardwork her determination her struggling with them too but again she did not came across a bechari here with really small touches like her using her phone to see the recipe her not crying over it and yes she was tired and all but she did look more determined , a woman on a mission than abla

Today we were familiarized with this Anika ka SABAR again...a huge challenge was put in front of her that she completed, without complaining, without rubbing it in Shivaay's face...the original Anika would deffo have sunaaoed to him all the way in trying to do anything😆...today was a good balance of quiet dignity in this Anika...Shivaay felt a pang of guilt seeing her swollen hands...but that passed quickly once he heard the line about Nikhil just wanting to see his ring on Anika's finger...lol...so even after putting her through the laddoo operation, Shivaay stops her again for some help as a bahaana of making sure Nikhil's ring never gets on Anika's finger...lol and this Anika is so patient, she still agrees to stay back...lol uff tak nahin ki😆...sirf Daksh ke topic pe khulti hai iski zubaan😆

exactly and apni ring phansani hai na iss liye roka. i am sure he will give her the one in his hand caz that is big in size to fit in her swollen finger keh kar ya bolega try karke dekho and usme woh phans jayegi toh kahega baad maind e dena this way engagement gets delayed😆😆

LOL yep obviously he will give her the ring from the dabba he already has in in his hand...conveniently enough the jewellery brought it home just in time for Shivaay to get triggered by the line about Nikhil wanting to see his ring on Anika's finger...lol...and the ring has been selected by Daadi so Daadi ka bhi aashirwaad mil jaayega Shivika ki accidental engagement ko...lol

Dunno if engagement delay hogi...maybe Nikhil will just put his ring on Anika's other finger😛
