Episode- 11th July 2018.

Background:- Shivaay witnesses Anika & Nikhil's meeting for being arranged to be married.

Because It Felt Right...

"I wanted talk to you! " words tumbled from his mouth as he saw her seated so close to him. He did not know what the feeling was. The one that consumed his heart. He did not know why his muscles froze or why is breath dragged.

She got up at once. What was it in his eyes? Why was she so concerned, about whatever it was? Why was she trying to figure out the emotion behind those blue blazing eyes?

"I will be back." She said to the others, moving towards him.

Giving a last glance around, he looked at her and then walked out.

"I did it because I felt it was right. " she explained.

"If there was Gauri instead of Priyanka, I would have done the same. It's better to break a heart than shatter the entire world with the heart." She added.

"Not everything that feels right must be done." He said, looking into her eyes. They were pulling him. They wanted him to be still close.

His words made shiver run down her spine. He was meaning much more than he was saying. The way he looked at her. No one had ever. The way his eyes screamed to her none had ever.

Their conversation was interrupted by Nikhil. "Hey Anima, you are going to be Mrs. Nikhil Sharma soon. Sixteen days it is." He smiled at her, placing a hand around her shoulder and then looked at him. He smoked formally at him. Quickly whispering a good night to her he left.

His fingers folded into a fist, digesting the little piece of news he had heard.

"Mr. Oberoi I was just saying ..

" Shivaay!"

She stared at him blankly. What had got into him suddenly. His eyes had changed to a deeper shade of blue. "Mr. Oberoi..." She tried bringing him back from where he was.

"Its Shivaay. My name is Shivaay. You can call me that at least?"

She gulped, looking into him. The atmosphere had grown hotter suddenly. The free air was now under unknown tension.

He stepped closer to her. "Shivaay."

She stared at him. There was something so powerful about him that she could not understand. Something so rare coruscating from his eyes into her soul.

She was not willing to say that name. She felt something very strong and unaccountable would happen if she slipped that name from her lips. She was scared for her ownself. Those eyes were predators, running to claim her soul.

She had never felt so ajar. She had never found herself into such an intimidation. She wanted an escape. There was non but he himself. He was the escape and the predator.

His eyes looking into her pleaded her to oblige. She did not know what to take of it, what to understand, what to act. She just found herself slipping into unknown. Still a very familiar unknown.

"Shivaay!" She whispered beautifully.

His heart forgot to perform what it was supposed to for a brief second. "Anika!" He called her name. As though screaming for her help. Out of this. Out of this pain that consumed him. He was so close to her. So close. Yet he felt so far. So far.

"Shivaay!" She whispered again. This time still more clearly. As though she was approaching him. She was here to his rescue.

His hand, moved to her cheek. She felt flames, she had never thought could exist.

"Does this feel right?" He asked, whispering, his lips close to hers.

She looked up into his eyes. Her hand mirroring his action. "It shouldn't !" She mumbled. Inhaling their closeness. Why was he still so far?

"It does?" He asked, taking sharp inhales. He had never felt this way before.

"It does!" She muttered trying hard to breathe.

His lips now stood touching hers. She could feel him breathe from his mouth like she did. Her hands on his face and his on hers.

Almost on sync they pressed more. Putting to an end the distance between them. This felt so right!

Their tongues entangled in a love battle. His hand moved down to her waist, pulling her closer. She arched to give him access, she could not deny. She did not want to.

He kissed her deeply careless about where what when. All that he knew was she was his rescue. She was pulling him out of that pit of pain. Her fingers were lost in his hair behind as she kissed him. Like she had kissed him a million times before.

She did not know what this strong feeling was. But he was her escape. Escape from the painful world she lived in. He was her escape.

They broke apart, looking deeply into each other. Not regretting a bit. But cherishing what happened. She sighed and so did he. She pulled back her hand, she had to go back to her world.

He pulled back his hands and let her go. He had to go back to where he belonged. He stepped back, so did she. Instantly they turned away. She walked slowly back to the out house. He took strides to reach the mansion.

Something jerked both of them backwards. Something invisible and incomprehensible.

She turned back and so did he. There gazes interwove like they were used to. A small curve drew itself on each of their faces just like one in the sky.

"It felt right!"

...because it felt right! Very right.

Slightest clue did they have that they were start crossed lovers, who could only meet in the moon's presence.

Hi Anamika..

You have a way with words... you spin beautiful stories...this one is so engrossing...i could literally feel the tension between the two...

I read another beautifully written and mindblowing piece of work of your "still mine" ..I finished the whole story in one sitting ..I enjoyed the storyline and the characters ..Your Shivaay Singh Oberoi was more relatable than the one on screen and Annika more empowered ...it was clash of equals in terms of personality... The scenes were so vivid that i could picturise them.

Hope to read many more of such wonderful creations ...
