Nah with a new Dadi...its an alternate universe. "Old" cast would work if they would have never casted Shrenu to be Om's FL. With all the fighting between fandoms its only because Shrenu has such a strong screen presence that viewers wonder why is she not considered Main Lead. That is where IB fails. If only they show the brothers tackling their own problems then it would be interesting. Shrenu is a power pact actress that no one can deny...that is why if it's the "old" cast then its better to not let Gauri appear...because when she does...it will become interesting. Rikara chemistry is undeniable. And when given a proper story it becomes "dangerous" 😆...they are just nice to see onscreen.

Agree with you Vivi!

I don't think Shrenu would've joined the original IB as parallel lead.

She was signed as lead for DBO. Then whatever happened later is unprecedented and sad.

I am still a shreshank shipper till one of them marry another person or get engaged.

I think she will attend the function since ib is nominated for best fictional show. Last she was not nominted so she didnt attend. But she attended other two award functions.

Hope they win.

Yup. And viewers get confused. Then a shift in dynamics is unavoidable because viewers will have their preference of who they want to watch. When the serial is unable to run a couple of different tracks at the same time it's boring. It's interesting to see the struggles of every character. And Shrenu does angst so well that you can't help but to get sucked in. Writing is a must of course...I will not blindly give credit to only Shrenu but the girl does a fab job whenever given a chance and that is where makers are iffy on...The girl shines too bright.

Shrenu is hands down the best performer in her category. In fact, she as good, if not better, than those who are nominated in lead actress category. But then that's moot point, so no point discussing.

The first 80-100 episodes of IB are gold (except for pigeon blood dripping from vent, Mala/Bela/Ishana nonsense, Gayatri plot: we still don't know who murdered her😕)

If class actors like ronit roy and hitein can get nominated for supporting actors and can win the awards we dont have to feel ashamed for shrenu n kj get nominted for supporting actors. Hope they win.
