The only solace I am giving to myself is Karma has cone back to bite Shivaay. Because of what he did that time somewhere has led Annika to believe that yes, he is very much capable of doing something like this. But what I dont understand is that what conversation took place between them before she decided to take an extreme stand. My head is throbbing too. This is my last daily soap. I cant afford something like this in future...
See the thing is that I don't see relationships as keeping score. That Shivaay has done xyz stupid things n times and for that Anika has the right to do them n times too so that scores are level. Life doesn't work like that. Because this means there is no growth or evolution. One is stuck in the same place keeping score. Shivaay has done many idiotic things where I have wanted to whack him but he has grown from that and tried to be a better man each time. Earnestly and sincerely irrespective of how far he may have succeeded or not. He has regretted his mistakes and tried to redeem himself. I don't think he needs to be beaten up for it forever. Like so many people still hold the forced marraige against him ignoring everything that came after. I am just annoyed that they have wiped all the ground Shivika have covered for some contrived MU just to keep the drama going. And am even more annoyed that everyone (or many) are applauding it. I am ok with Anika being mad at him for the stunts he pulls in his need to take care of everyone and everything alone. But where we seem to heading seems to be much bigger than that. Given all the times that their trust has been tested and they have come through shining brighter each time this is a little hard to digest. Because this is the same Anika who has trusted him blindly even when their relationship was unnamed and unacknowledged. So now when they have traveled so far...
